Managed to catch the last obstacle and also voted for another boost. I'll try to keep an eye out for the obstacles while I study. They're not that far ahead, I'm sure we can catch up :D

I know it seems like our food has been dropping a lot, but really the lowest it's been since I've seen it is only like 90% or so.

If Gold's is dropping faster, they could still be around the 70% or 80% mark and still not be losing energy because it's above 50%.

We just don't know because we can't see theirs to compare it to ours.

If we get another speed boost I'm sure we will take the lead ^__^

but if they're also using speed boosts, that should eat up all their food and make their energy drop a ton. If they aren't using speed boosts how are they moving so fast on only a 10% increase? I mean, I suppose they could just have a bunch of people that are home all day on their team, but that seems unlikely - between work and school they should have a fairly close drop in the number of people as we do, which again, begs the question - how are they managing all that if their food drops faster than ours and they're likely using speed boosts that eat up 80% of their food?

Sorry, I know I am complaining a lot this morning, but it's getting hard not to really start believing that Gold was chosen as winner before this ever even started. :(

I'm also just really frustrated with Survivor this morning. My hunter gatherer is randomly pulling to the left for no reason at times, which means I have to restart the game, and then I'm walking around for sometimes 30 seconds before a piece of food even shows up...and its BANANAS! grrr :P

Voted for speed boost just now!

I don't know how many speed boosts they've used, but considering how long ours takes to activate they probably haven't used very much of theirs.

Even though the speed boost is faster than the 10% boost, we're still going to end up behind them if we don't get our speed boost often enough. We're already starting to fall behind again now that ours has worn off.

[edit]Also I don't know if Gold was chosen as the winner beforehand, but this is only the third trail. We're tied 1-1 so far anyway, so it's not like they've won everything. Be patient and just have fun, we still get our points for completing things individually, plus whatever comes after we do get to the top of the mountain. 😊
