OK, well that's good for us that speed boosts are more than 10%, but that still means their speed boosts will work out to 10% more than our speed boosts right?

That's about the same timeline I'm expecting. Hopefully we don't also have to do this coming down from the mountain.

Yeah, but they still have to get their people to vote for the speed boosts too, which was harder for them on the last leg than it was for us I think.

I'm just wondering what will happen when we finally reach the top (some day I hope), will the volcano explode and drive us away, open up and reveal some hidden caverns, or destroy the village. As much as I enjoy events like this they do get tedious if they drag out for too long.

We'll invoke the powers of Balthazaar for the return trip...

God we like just started this leg of the journey and I'm already wondering when it will be over because the dread of the next bid for an npc is hovering over my shoulder like the grim reaper.

Depending on how things work out we might all be sprinting down the mountain away from lava or angry ghosts.

It wouldn't be as tedious if there was a bit more variety of different steps. I know this is just the first part, but having so much of this trekking and camping with not much else, it's getting somewhat tiresome.

yeahh idk;; i was told there wouldn't be rs wars, sorry to lie to yall all this rsing is just.. not fun.. i like the plots and events that were like Faded Memories Peril at the Patch like that??? theres?? no competition for plot points obviously staff is trying something new but idk i just dont like events in teams like this bc that stuff stirs so much drama

[edit] mind you i would totally be down for an event with two diverging storylines based on which npc you pick but none of that competitive stuff, ya hear? like.. i want my event that reveals Euclid and Ian's backstory

Yep! That's fine with me! I'm going to try to be around more now that career fair and conference poster week is over. Now it's just the grad school grind.

As a note folks! We haven't actually been participating in RS wars. RS wars were based on restocking items of a certain rarity and up from main shops. You kept the items and just got points for successfully grabbing the item. They weren't really a sP sink and were fun but frustrating. We have been doing a donation drive which you buy stuff from all over and is mainly meant as an sP sink

I'm the same way. It'd be cool if we kept winning races or NPCs but to me it's not a big deal if we don't. (Of course I'll keep doing my best to help us win) At this point I'm more interested in the dialogue and what will happen when we finally get to the volcano.

I do agree it's usually better to have the users versus the site rather than each other, for low-drama reasons.

But we'll keep going here and do our best!

Yeah, those kinds of events are pretty fun. Although I'm not super concerned with the plot points, we'll still get ours for completing the activities and such. And we're tied 1-1 for the trails so far, so I think it'll be alright in the end.
