: I'm pretty sure they encountered wind last night. The wind obstacle overall seems to have been altered so that teams don't get kicked back as far (likely based on what happened to us last time), so I wouldn't expect them to get kicked back multiple % from the event.

The back-to-back was a bit odd. I was still refreshing around the explore map looking for lost map pieces - didn't even realize the obstacle had switched. =/

I guess all we can do is vote for the speed boost and play Survivor like crazy?

Hay, got a chance 2 come on breefly, just in time 2 help with 2 obsticals.

I tried 2 not push blake in that hole but the site wouldn't let me, i refreshed 3 times, then it made me push him in like 5 times.

It's my theory - not an actual official one lol Still though, if the end of the plot is actually meant for gold to win to introduce some new aspect to the site that could only be introduced IF gold won, then like I said...what's the point of having the event? It's just speculation on my part, but seeing things like gold basically being handed the chance to win this leg without the work that steele has done facing all the obstacles we've been facing, AND with our speed boosts and couple of good weather ones just makes the cynic in me sit up and take notice. ;) I want them to get a fair shake, don't get me wrong, but there is no way that they should be where they are right now if this was in any way "fair".

of course!! i'm not saying the team's sentiment is invalid. i'm upset too, but i'm trying not to let it get to me. the last time a team got upset about something staff did to benefit another team, we got major backlash from the other teams (i was on Team Mischief in the Snowman Competition. Talk about Drama; we were winning the competition, too). We just can't act like it's a big conspiracy theory quite yet. I'm waiting on answers. It's early for my buddy rn ahaha.

I've calmed down a bit now too. Both sides are still going to be hitting obstacles, and we do seem to be moving at approx. the same rate once again. So just keep going everyone, good luck!

They were glitched for a long time. That can demoralize them, burn them out, etc. So maybe they get a little advantage from that now. Doesn't matter. We don't need to win by high percentage points to get the bonus, just by a bit.

So if we keep our shit together, play as team, keep calm, we can continue to lead as we have been all along. There's still lots of time to make use of our advantages.

On mobile so it's hard to quote, but Grace's FAQ response to me just sounds like pandering to Team Gold. We go through obstacles more quickly than they do. I honestly wonder if any staff is even on Team Steele. I know Amber is on Team Gold so she knows when they're having issues right away.

Voted for the boost. I agree with ...keep calm, carry on. But if they are ahead at the end of today I am headed over to their camp for some mischief >_>

I also feel like part of the lack of consistency is that staff is figuring out glitches... and potentially even making changes based on all the complaining. xD After we had wind x2 and monsoon x3 in a 3-hour period last night and were complaining about Sagg having no wind, they finally encountered wind. And we (thank goodness) haven't had wind or monsoon since (in the last 11 hours).

It also frustrates me though that the staff seems unwilling to admit that there could be issues with the randomization, etc. Like, clearly, something was going on. It appears to have been fixed. But all staff will say is that it was "random" and we must have had bad luck. xD

Oh man, this "severe bad luck" on our side is lame, still. :( But for instance when they got the lead on Wesley we won it back with a spectacular difference, we sure can do it again.
