We have been doing really well clearing obstacles, have gotten some good weather, and have booster our speed. Hopefully, this is taken into account

I didn't know Gold was glitched - that's too bad. :( Hopefully it gets fixed soon, but yes we should definitely still be in the lead after it. Would be highly disappointing if we weren't.

I didn't realize they were glitched but that makes sense. I agree that hopefully the staff will give them a speed boost as it seems unfair for their progress to be so greatly effected by a glitch.

I know, I completely agree that when the bug gets fixed they should be moved because this has been going on for so long and it isn't there fault. We also haven't had a glitch like this during this travel day. I just don't know what they will do to make it fair so I am worried. I hope they figure out something that is fair to everyone, and that the other team realizes it (they already seem pretty upset which is understandable)

They actually activated their speed boost like 20 minutes after they got the glitched obstacle. They don't seem to communicate as effectively as we do, so that's a good sign for us down the road. Superior communication could give us a nice edge on the competition, especially if we're able to recruit other NPCs to help us.

Apparently overnight on the first leg of the journey, we got stuck in an obstacle as well and we ended up losing that leg. Team Steele has had a lead the whole way, so hopefully we continue to get the lead and we split the first two legs of the journey. As I said a few pages back, I'm hoping we split the legs of the trail evenly so there's not too much bitching at the end of it.

Good communication, and we seem to have more active members, even though they have more overall members. We've been flying through all of our obstacles, while they were taking 20-30 minutes to complete theirs even before the glitch.

Even if staff puts them back close behind us, we still have a good chance of winning this leg if we keep up what we've been doing!

I'm worried that their team is still gathering and that subeta can keep track of it, while perhaps those on our team who don't know about the glitch and see this huge lead will think they don't have to gather as much and that that will make the difference when staff move Gold up after they've fixed the glitch. :(

Is anyone keeping a log of all the obstacles? Having just woken up, it would be really awesome to see what we've missed over the night in a quick timeline on the front page.

Exactly. I'm so proud of our team and how we've really been able to rally the troops. If we keep up our morale and keep destroying these obstacles, we should have no problem winning the trail bits and winning over other NPCs.

Huh, that's rather unfortunate for them that they're not communicating as well, but good for us as long as we continue to communicate well. Hopefully the glitch gets resolved soon for their sake and we'd still be in the lead.

Yeah I was on for that but I also remember seeing that team gold also had some issues with some of the obstacles on the first leg (they wanted some kind of fix for it but were told we also had some issues). And I know both teams stopped moving for most of the night. I would love it if we split all of the travel days evenly, but we don't know what will happen (I am all for less bitching :)). The thing I am worried about is team gold seems to want to be put the same distance away from us that they were before the glitch (which I saw some people say was 1%), they definitely shouldn't be that close because of how we have been moving since then, but I guess we will just have to wait and see. Hopefully staff can figure out a fair solution and everyone will understand why it was the fairest possible

I hope they make a news post about it or something whenever they do fix it, to explain their decision and abate some of the complaining that is sure to ensue.

I don't think hunting for food gives you that much of a boost. When both caravans are moving without any weather-related obstacles that slow them down/speed them up, they move at the same rate.

I don't know if it's just that they struggle to communicate as effectively or if it's that we just have a much more active team. It could be a combination of the two.

I agree completely. They should not be 1% behind us. We've had TWO good weather boosts and one of those was with our speed boost, so that should have been double boosted. We blast through obstacles -- we finished the Matlal one in 9 minutes and it takes Team Gold over 20 minutes usually. So hopefully all that is taken into account.

I just hope during the next leg of the trail, nobody glitches so it can be fair and whoever wins just wins and that's that.

Although the site hasn't been crashing nearly as much during Trail so far, so that's good at least.

I think the start and end times are probably fine how they are, since you don't need to be around right at the start. They last for 24 hours, so that's till plenty of time for everyone to have a chance to participate, even if you can't be online as much.

I hope they don't stop - since thre are other timezones XXD I still have the feeling they should better strart the new day earlier - since Europe is 5/6 hours ahead

Exactly!!!! :) We just need to keep up all of the good work and not listen to the bitching of the other team. We know how well we have done on this leg. Hopefully all of what you said will be taken into account for the solution or it wouldn't really be fair to us
