If the boost lasts one hour why does it still say that I have already voted for the boost when I did that hours ago?

It fit the pattern of about 30 minutes between obstacles of any sort. We've just been kicking butt at getting the obstacles cleared quickly. (Seriously though, I'm really impressed by our teamwork guys)

We should have a better idea of a pattern after this next obstacle :)

Because it hasn't been activated yet. We need 1/3 of our members to vote for it before it activates, which it will show up when it has and display how much time is left during the speed boost.

In that case, I guess I'll click it. c: Might as well see what it does while we're ahead.

It kinda seems like whoever is behind really can't catch up without it as long as there are no events working against the other team and the food stores stay full. After that wind on the first night, it seemed like we were basically 4.5% to 5% behind Gold the entire time during the last trail.

Appreciate you doing these calculations! I want to know how best to use my time and energy and this system is making it hard to know what to do other than playing survivor as often as possible.

: LOL. Well, I was feeling like the monsoon ruined my tracking times. But that clearly shows that time was not wasted. ;) I think there's just a difference between different obstacle types then -- best scenario is that the difference is non-participation vs. participation. Worst scenario would be differences between all different types (battle, click, non-participation, etc.). How good will it feel though when we all know we can walk the dog, do some work, take a shower, play a whole bunch of Survivor, etc without missing an obstacle?

The boost doesn't activate until 1/3 of our team clicks the button.

Yeah, we never recovered from that wind. As long as we stay ahead and keep clearing these obstacles quickly, I'm not as worried about us. Saggi is dropping the ball on this leg.
