Thanks for answering! Just wanted to make sure if I might have time to do quests when I get home from work.

- my Notepad was set up for fighting the troll. And some of my dailies are hourlies so I just do them in the same order each time and also only set some of the hourly alerts. Usually, it works pretty well for me.

- don't know if this is useful, and it can change since quest rewards are consistently "tweaked" by staff, but I do all of Saggi's quests every day and always come out ahead on the total. A single quest or two may get you - same with Quentin, Carl or Alexander, but a whole set (of ten in my usual case) comes out ahead. The only quests I don't do is if I get asked for unbuyables. And I used to limit Saggi at about 100K total but now I go up to 125 or 150 without thinking about it.

Did they ever figure out how to beat the troll? I read a bunch of the posts etc. and didn't hear that they did it.

This turned out to be a good time to do the quests. Everyone is leaving and so are the Errors. :D I've nearly finished mine.

- yes, we know how to beat it (or at least we did). It just takes teamwork. All three of my pets have five wins against him. There is one random weapon that wins and it changes every time anyone on site gets a fifth drop (the good prizes). If you want, after this plot is over, I can tell you more and we can try to get together a group to beat him.

- it's usually pretty quiet this time of night after the site settles down from the cron reset.

Completely understandable. Competitions and such can be really hard on confidence when you don't make it, but the important thing is to not let it keep you down. After all, as long as you keep trying, you can only get better am I right?

The ones I tend to prefer doing are Shinwa, Wizard, and Saggi quests. If I don't do any of the others, I try to at least do those. I can usually get about 2 mil from just that. Used to though I wouldn't do any quests except for wizard quests, because they all ripped me off every time, but that was back when the only way to get to the quests was to go through the world map. :/ I have noticed though, it sort of seems to me like the more quests you do, the more worthwhile the quests become.... Like whenever I was new to questing with someone I'd just get crap for sP rewards, it wasn't worth it at all, but it's like they've gotten better over time. I've had a couple of friends join the site too, and it seemed like they had the same sort of thing going on where people were more likely to rip them off until they had done a decent number of quests with that individual. It's all speculation on my part, though.

Oh no, with Quentin, it's eight out of ten of her quests where she's majorly ripping me off, so if I do all of them I'd leave with significantly less sP than when I started. The same used to be true for Saggy - any time I tried paying over 60k he'd give me back way less than usual, so it was far more worth it to limit myself. That sort of falls into what I was just saying about how it's seemed to me like there's a bit of a progression... I too am now at the point where I can spend about 100k on saggy and not be too worries about it, but I wasn't able to get away with that at all in the past.

- staff has changed the amount of rewards for quests. And they often change it slightly to help balance the economy, or help with other goals. Quentin (and Alexander now) are the worst for not getting back as much sP as you put in, but I do still come out ahead anytime I do all ten of them. And Quentin, of course, gives out mage amulets and Alexander gives out rares and super rares. A single amulet is worth as much as the quests cost, so you could sell them. I don't, so I don't know how quickly they sell. Alexander's rares can also be valuable if you count items (I quest for sP and think of the items as a sort of bonus). I'm not usually particularly lucky, but maybe I am for questing? When I was more worried about risking sP, I just set a limit and skipped anything more expensive, like you are already doing. I can remember when Cinthia paid so badly I never did any of her quests but now I am happy to do them. Right now, I don't want to spend the time, so I usually go with Shinwa, Wizard and Saggi plus the weekend quest if there is one. But when I want extra sP, I often start with Quentin just to see if I get any amulets with the sP. Guess you need to go with your own experience and what works for you.

I've only finished wizard and saggi... of course the first one she sends me to is wizard. :( I usually do wizard, pete, and quentin when I do quests, I don't usually do them all cuts I'm lazy, Quentin just for the chance at amulets.
