I'd also like to be pinged for obstacles, frankly. Even if I'm on other tabs, I check when I see a notification on tab.

Ah, have to leave for work in a few minutes so will miss all the obstacles today. Hope there are some left when I get home tonight. Thanks to all those who will be working hard today to keep us from getting further behind. I'll be back tonight.

I also agree with wanting to be pinged for obstacles. I'll miss them all otherwise and won't be able to help out.

Now that I think about it, can't you mute pings for the group if you don't want them? I haven't tried it, but I guess you could do that if you don't want as many pings.

Stuff's still broke, but staff is aware of it and will fix it as soon as programmers are available. For now, just waiting ~

I think pinging for major plot updates, obstacles, and food shortages is best. (As others have said, obstacle pinging is useful of you're on a different tab than Subeta.)

I hate getting pings about general progress or an obstacle being eliminated.

Hey guys, so I know some people want obstacle pings and others don't. I noticed Team Saggi had a separate ping group for obstacles, so I decided to make one for us as well.

is the group (for On the Trail). Feel free to join and use that group for obstacle pings and general progress during this portion of the event. We can save the TeamBlake group for major updates or new information.

I also want pings for new obstacles. So far I've yet to see the official event that happens? Does it happen like an alert? Do I have to refresh to see it? I've been relying on pings because I see them first via the tab ticker or a live alert.

The obstacles will show up as an alert at the top of the screen under the progress banner, as well on the main Trail Page with the map.

Agree about being pinged for obstacles, I usually have multiple tabs open at a time and I'd hate to miss something.

joined the new group. Do the official alerts show up live? If you're talking about the bar that says "there's a new obstacle" under the progress bar, I've been having to refresh the page to be aware of it.

Joined the OTT ping group, now we only need obstacles

I'd joined the obstacle group as well, because I'm in a kinda need of help. I honestly don't really get this event/plot at all. Where do I need to go to see a new obstacle? Where can you see a new obstacle is made? How do I participate in one? :P I haven't seen anyting happen all day :(

Keith said somewhere that the main On The Trail page should auto refresh when there are obstacles now, but I haven't seen that happen yet as it's been stuck for so long.

It's been stuck for some time, staff is aware of it. Obstacles will be obvious when there is one, both on the main Trail page and up top under the progress banner. They can go by quickly though, depending on how long it takes everyone as a group to complete.
