can you explain what that boost voting is all about? last On the Trail part I only participated through my phone and I didn't see any voting. Is it in the obstacle page? What is on the table: speed boost + ____ ?

Yes, I'm using an auto refresher for firefox too. Hahaha I have both browsers going. XD Firefox for stacks of items, and chrome when it's a mass of individual items. LOL

recently posted some relevant information regarding the speed boost. I don't know how many of you check the admin posts as frequently as I do, so I figured I would share it here.

I have two thoughts regarding her post. One, Team Gold will likely be able to stack their boost. And two, it means that when we have the speed boost active, we move much more quickly than we previously thought. Our food and energy drop significantly, but by the end of the boost, our energy is back up to at least 70%. Therefore, I think that whenever we have the option to boost, we need to use it.

It takes us a little while to get to 33.xx% participation, so if you're about to go offline for a bit, make sure to vote for it before you disappear into the real world. Based on 's obstacle tracking, our fastest speed boost turn-around was two hours, and we had full energy at that time. Many of you complained about over-pinging at that time, so as a precaution, if you're online and we are not in an active speed boost, please make sure to vote for it so you don't get pinged from over-excited teammates!

If we get as many speed boosts as possible and continue to tear through obstacles, we still have a strong chance of beating Team Gold on this next leg. And if we do, it would be the perfect time to bust out my favorite gif from this event so far, courtesy of :

If you want pings for each obstacle, make sure to join the OTT ping group. That ping group has been changed to admin-only pings, so you should not be spammed with pings from that group.

I'm curious if them having a constant speed boost also means that their food will deplete more rapidly and therefore require people to actively play the hunting game to keep their energy from bottoming out.

When we're on the trail we now have the option to speed boost - you click on the green energy bar to vote for it. We need 1/3 of our team to vote for it to activate. Then we move quicker (and we also get to obstacles faster).

Can we all agree that we should IMMEDIATELY hit the speed boost as soon as the trail starts again, so that we can try and get it activated as quickly as possible? And I agree with - if you're going to be logging off please click the speed boost before you do so that we don't have to wait quite so long to actually activate it when the time comes around again. And if our fastest turn around was two hours, is it really necessary to wait until the energy bar is at 90% before clicking it again? Maybe 75%-80% would make it less likely that we end up waiting two hours after that 90% before it activates again?

Okay... Which vending machine is better to get from clothing-wise? Dragon Hoard or Omen Islands machine (I know that one does give clothes but not sure with shoes)?

Dragon Hoard pulls from both shops, so I'd say that would be the best one to use. :)

I agree, I think we should activate it at every opportune chance.

Dragon's Hoard does both Sole Train and Clothing Rack so I'd go with that one!

If you have a bunch of different items you can use a browser extension like LinkClump, or if you have a lot of the same item you can just click on it and then refresh the page to donate again.
