Good job everyone.....

It appears that on this leg, at least so far, obstacles are appearing approx every half hour after finishing obstacles... I noticed this in the first couple of obstacles, and paid attention to it this past time. We encountered the log around 7:43 and passed it around 7:48. We encountered the vines at 8:17 (29 minutes after passing the log obstacle). We passed the vines at 8:24, so if my hypothesis is correct, our next obstacle should appear around 8:54. Let's see if that works out to be true?

I'm all for sneaking termites on team gold's cart! :D

I voted for speed too, if that's what you mean by clicking the speed button. Hope I can be on more this evening, still not feeling well. You guys did a great job with the donations! :D OK looks like I missed yet another obstacle.

The thing is, not everyone wanted the pings for every obstacle that comes up. So I made a separate group for that, if people want them they can join it.

I know some people don't care, but others are getting annoyed by having a million pings every day.

When clicking away at the blue button do we need to let the page refresh between each click, or can we click away wildly? ...I'm guessing the page has to refresh fully each time?

- some of us haven't joined the obstacle ping group because we can see the obstacles ourselves every time we refresh a page, so don't worry too much about the group size being smaller. Hope that helps.

hunting is something I can do from my phone (badly, but I can still manage it.) so yay! I'm glad it counts for something. And I did catch that last obstacle. Woot for team blake!

Thanks for that observation, now I can take the dog on a speed walk since I have a general idea.

Not a problem. I didn't want to share my inkling until I had concrete numbers to support it. It's still doesn't seem exact. I'm going to keep tracking exact times the next few obstacles and see if it holds true though. Admin DID say it was time-based, so it would make sense that it had a time or time range in between obstacles. Hoping if I can figure it out, even generally, it can help those of us trying to catch obstacles between other RL activities. xD

- thank you for working that out. For what it's worth, thinking back now that you've mentioned it, last night when things were fixed and working about every half hour seems about right. Good job making that explicit for all of us.

Thanks. Actually I'm having a bad reaction from a shot I got at the doctors office, didn't sleep last night and exhausted. :( Will try to be on as much as I can this evening, I only have 1/5 since I missed the last obstacle. Thanks anon for the gift! :D
