@ Inknote I've loved it for a long time, my dad is part of Halloween 'guild' of sorts, he's made props for his house in decorating and I've helped with some things over the years, it's so much fun and I love dressing up. =3 I don't think we'll be in our own place before Halloween, but if so, I totally look forward to being able to decorate and if not this year, next year, yay! lol.

Oh wow he made the props himself??? That's so cool! I've got a row of wooden bats hanging above my bed rn from last year. They're cute so I kept them up <3 But there's not a lot of room for decorating in a dorm lol

Yeah, he's mechanical like that and knows how to build a lot of stuff. My dad is one of those people that learned a lot of practical things while growing up and just knows how to do most stuff, it's pretty awesome learning from him. ^^;

That's really neat - Is there one that he's made that really stands out to you? I know I had a big white, plywood sleigh my grandpa made my family for xmas years ago - my brother and I could fit in it when we were younger and it had reindeer and everything. Lmao I've had that in my wardrobe and just never realized it I guess? It's so pretty, how have I not used it yet???

Well, the first one he did is a pair of kicking legs, where they're just legs that kick, you can put them under like a lawnmower or a huge boulder and it looks liek someone is stuck under it- and they kick on a motion censor lol. My dad takes them for Christmas and puts them up on the roof and on the chimney in red pants and black boots so it looks like Santa is stuck in our chimney lol. I love those thigns. xD

I helped him make a 'cemetery' from wood boards we have like 40 of them and we put them up in the front yard, it's fun. =D

Yeah, i don't use some of those trains much, but they're pretty cool =3

Yeah same! I should start doing that, but I'm on a male HA kick and I'm struggling enough without adding more stuff I need to put in it lol.

lol. Yeah, the tombstones too awhile and recently we just repainted them and used a Cricket cutter to make some stencils (after cutting out several by hand first lol) to make them all more uniform. That took forever, we started several months ahead (since I have a kid, it was hard for me to do it when he was awake). But yeah, it's pretty awesome for sure. =)

Well, with 40, some needed to be sanded a bit, repainted and then re-lettered, so it took some time, and like I said, we cut out the stencils ourselves, printed them then used X-acto knives. So took some time. xD; Looked all pretty awesome when we were done. =D;

I forget stuff I have in my wardrobe all the time. lol.

No one's taken that big bat dress you were eyeing last time so if you still want it, it's yours for the taking as long as you're not overworking yourself DONT GET IN OVER YOUR HEAD OK!?
