I wouldn't mind seeing items coming back to a few. I can't remember who it was, but once in a great while I would get a SubQ item and that it would be amazing, because most of them are high SP or really hard to catch in her shop. At this point, though, I'm just hoping for some higher SP reward payouts in the future.

Good to hear that some of the ideas I had are being thought of even before I thought of them!

Yea, I know that Maleria, Carl, and Pete were ones that would occasionally give me tique items as well as stat boosters and WL items.

Nope, and there are people getting used to it as well, myself included, although it does hamper some of us who use the quest rewards to stock our shops or frag 'em for the crystal shop items. As I mentioned before, two of the questers could have it without items for a bit if the staff so pleases, and they could rotate out who does and doesn't have items, but as people have been complaining, those who come up as the WQ aren't nearly as enjoyable because the "increased rewards" aren't as good as they should be for a WQ, and most attest that to not having items.

Now, I know that Wiz and Saggy are the exception to this rule due to the increased rewards being able to be seen, but for ones like Maleria, Cinthia, and Cursed along with the ones giving out items currently, sometimes it's not so easily seen. With at least items turned on for those who aren't supposed to give items for the time being, it would make the WQ when they came up something that would give people incentive to play those quests, rather than avoiding them.

I do all the quests without any criterion. I make the same amount of sP as before the change. There's been enough time that I have been able to price my shop where I stash my quest rewards several times now, and it appears the fewer items I have been getting have been worth more to sell. This results in my loot-scrip part of the quest reward being about the same. For less overall item management. To me, this is a big win as it lets me do other things onsite that I find more fun than that.

Staff fails to activate the Weekend Special Quest often enough, I think of it as an inside joke. Not only that when we really do catch them at it and they admit it, more often than not nothing is done about it. No-user should expect any WSQ to work or be worth it ever, IMO treat it like a regular day or do it for the lulz. Maybe staff has not yet figured out how to manage the WSQ with the new regime, maybe they just haven't bothered, or they have indeed carefully considered how they should work and nobody likes it because it's change? Me, on the WSQ I'm all whutevz.

True on that WSQ thing, since while it looks like it hasn't been activated for this week, most weeks it's easier to see. With those that have special items they'll give out when they're the WSQ (Maleria, Cursed, Alexander, and Cinthia), the way we know if they're doing so is if they've had items turned on. Take for example when Alexander was the WSQ a few weeks ago. You could tell he was because he was giving out his special items as well as the chance for the retired books. Maleria, on the other hand, seems like she's back to being her normal self, abit with the "occasional" special item. I'm lucky that I got at least two if them today, but some users haven't been so lucky with that.

From what I know from the staff, they're planning to revamp a few features (Recycle Beast and Fragging) that'll likely make it where users will want more items again just to do the new things with them.

Other than that, no items has been decent with half of the questers giving them out, but it just feels that it's not as much fun as it was before the change for me. I typically spend about thirty minutes or so on the site right now when prior to the change I'd spend a few hours on it, but as soon as an event shows up, it's a lot more fun because we know we're getting new items as well as chances for questers to give items as well in their rewards, like Carl and Keelhaul Day coming up.

How about retiring some items.? There are worthless clothes that nobody wears for a start. Items used to be retired on a fairly regular basis but that never happens now.

I miss getting items from questing. I'm so depressed I've hardly quested the last week. *also pretty busy with work, but depressed too. DX

The only quests I didn't get any item from today was Maleria. I did get items from Nori.

I'm missing those items for sure today. I'm still overall reserving judgement but I miss my extra stuff to frag and the occasion needed/wanted item reward.

I don't have a GA at the moment so I have to price by hand. I actually prefer sP ONLY. :) The WQ givers still give out their special loot anyway, so NBD on that. :)

Yea, that's what I'm talking about. I remember when Cinthia was just as bad as well as the WQ.

The sP amount need to be raised. Especially when there is nothing of value being handed out. I am to the point where I avoid doing quests that hand out stuff unless there's a chance I'll get something I actually want. So Shinwas, Wiz, Saggi, Mal, and BQs for sure. Carl, MD, and Quentin -- when/if I'm in the mood. WQ usually. Creepy C doesn't hand out enough sP to make it worth the effort. And if Mal starts treating me like she treats , I'll quit her too. lol

Whether they hand out stuff or just sP -- it needs to be worth the time effort, and cost.
