I got in a few hits with the first guardian but not so much with the last one. I might try a few more hits. But my pet isn't a very good fighter in the arena. He is only a tier 2 which isn't that great. But i guess some damage is better then none.

Ohmygosh that would have been frustrating, and disappointing. Good for Lyell. You're a good pet parent. I didn't have any of my pets trained well enough to fight that bully. He squashed poor Poppy as if she wasn't even there. She's still glaring at me and licking her wounds.

I wonder if we don't fight any of the opponents or just a few that they added under events will hurt any points we get for the plot. Because i won't be able to fight but maybe 2 of them if i'm lucky. The rest of them no way.

I'm almost afraid to pop back in after so long.

Not even going to try to read back through the forums, I think that's where I keep messing up. I try to get caught up on everything and get overwhelmed and feel even worse for staying gone so long and then I stop popping in again.

So, How is everyone? What have ya'll been up to? I've really missed and needed you guys but didn't feel like I deserved your friendship enough to ask after being gone so long with no word.

Anyone have an abridged update on everyone? What'd I miss?

It's nice to see you Kysta. You know you're always very, very welcome and we all miss you.

I'm afraid I have some news that isn't very happy. Bruce fell outside and broke two vertebra, two at the very top of his spine in his neck. Not operable as they are too close to the brain. He's very blessed that he wasn't paralyzed. He's home with a soft neck brace on. Will be at least 2 months before he can take it off. He had a bad day today but since it's only the day after it happened can't expect much better. God is good! We welcome prayers. He's 79 and us old folks fall really easily but mend very slowly.

handed in her thesis and got accepted into the master programme on her first try.

We are all busy with the plot that is almost to an end.

I have some sad news to tell as well. My Aggy (bulldog puppy) passed away on us suddenly she was nine and they told us when we got her that bulldogs rarely live longer than 7 years. Broke our hearts. She went out to potty and I noticed she wasn't coming back to the door and went out and found her dead. We still have Mr. Diddles but there is a HUGE empty spot where she was.

My Mamaw Bonnie falls a lot and has so many tears on her rotator cuffs in her shoulder from trying to catch herself that they can't do anything about it but let it heal slowly. One of us is always with her.. mainly my mom, because my Uncle moved out of state and we are the only ones here now that have anything to do with her. Everyone loves her and worries about her but no one actually comes to see her and sit with her. They travel all over the country having fun vacations posting on facebook how awesome their lives are and we are just here.

A lot of my friends have lost there pets this year and Leonie lost her Puk.

I do hope Bonnie does not fall anymore and good someone is with her.

The people who really love & Care about your Mamaw Bonnie are there with her right now.Family don't realize how hard it is on You & Your mom.Even if they would say hey, I'll give you a break & look after Mamaw Bonnie for a while,that would help a lot.We went threw that a while ago,so I understand completely.
I'm sorry to hear your puppy Aggy passed away =( It's like losing one of your kids =( I know how heart breaking it can be =) we had to put our Ludo down July 5th.But knowing he is in heaven playing with all the other pets there,makes it a little easier to take.Doesn't mean I still don't cry,because it hurts & I still do miss him a lot =(

I pray for your Mawmaw Bonnie that she won't take any more falls . Bruce and I were taking exercise classes for our balance. None of us in the class, even the instructor has very good balance. Just something we lose as we age. Bruce was just walking on a slope and lost his balance. He's fallen three times before in the yard but never got hurt badly before. I'm so sorry for your loss of Aggy. She had a good, long life for a doggy. Her absence must leave a big hole in your family. That's very sad dear.

Thank you. 😊 I'm sad to hear about Aggy. Don't let anyone tell you you needn't grieve a pet (not that any one on this board ever would but I've heard there are people like that out there). She was a beloved member of your family so grieving her is entirely natural. I hope your Mamaw Bonnie will get better soon and get to have a lovely life ahead of her. I know from Mum's work that it makes older people's days much brighter if you just give them some of your time. So by staying with her, you guys are already helping a great deal. I'm not saying it's okay for the rest of your family to stay away (because really, they could danged well get their backsides home once a year at least) but it may be nice for her to know that her family is doing well. Depending on her circumstances growing up, it might be reassuring to know her family is doing well and they're living good lives. Of course I don't personally know your Mamaw Bonnie but from other elderly people I've heard that it's a great comfort knowing their kids are independent and doing well, one big worry taken off their minds. I still think they should visit her properly, though.

Tell your hubby he's a lucky fellow. I'm sure the idea to thank his lucky stars/ guardian angels/ ... has occurred to him already. ;) Jokes aside, I'm really glad for you he's okay. Take care, the both of you, please.

Sorry for dropping off the radar again. I thought I'd have more time after handing in my thesis but I forgot to consider that my supervisors were just waiting for that as well and pretty much chomping at the bit to give me more work... ^^"

And five minutes after I decided I'd respond to the accumulated pings one by one, I accidentally deleted all of them... -.- So it'll take me a while longer to find all those pings again. But I will find them, even if it takes me until Luminaire (those of you that know the huggles board know that's entirely possible).
