So many Sailor Moon CWs are limited and really expensive/hard to find, and that's not much fun, so I'm determined to at least have all 'cosplay' colors of these skirts (and any other items in the same vein) be public and unlimited. ^^ And fwiw I do intend to do the other colors as well, although Mercury and Uranus will probably be direct-to-shop, since at that point we'll be talking three blue variations total and I don't think there'll be a lot of demand. But they'll all be there eventually.

Ultimately, yes! I'd like to do matching collars for each of the skirts, because I Don't Know When To Stop; the trick is working it out so that there are still enough differences to slide it past the tribute item rules, since in-show it's a pretty straightforward collar. That'll probably be the next thing I try to tackle after the [show-based colors of the] skirts are set, in fact.

(I'm also a little torn between having bows as part of the item for straight-up cosplay, or having separate bows so people can mix and match colors as they please; and of course ALL of this is looking at a fairly lengthy timeline of funds->commission->release. But I do definitely want to make some kind of collar/bow thing one way or another, because the on-site sailor collars have limited color options and those Ribboned Costume Pens are SCARCE.)

And they were 600 CSC when released, which is a bit much for chest bows.

I've thought of commissioning some items like that myself, and thought of changes; one could be putting the bow and collar together as a sort of close-fitting bandeau top, which would perhaps offer some changes like a thicker border or decoration on the bottom edge that wouldn't look too unnatural under the bow or anything, it could just look like embroidered underwire. Skip sleeves, add some changes or effects in decoration to the center broach and part of the collar...hmm. A fourth one is difficult.

Making a bandeau top for the Princess Serenity dress, to be able to put over site items, could also be handy.
