Since we've already got recipes that include pepper in their ingredients list, I think we should include more types of pepper and revamp the old we already have. We could include whole pepper or pepper powder in four different colours.

Oooh yes! It would make sense to have a type of pepper from each subeta region too, since we now have salt, vanilla, and honey (based off colors) like this.

Darkside, Shengui Guo or Sacred Lands pepper would be nice, as well as the flavours and colours we can find in the real world! :)

Support for changing the item pepper to ground black pepper, adding whole black peppercorns, white pepper, red peppercorns, and pink ones Green peppercorns are usually pickled I believe and wouldn't really be the same thing I think?

Pink peppercorns are actually a completely different plant, a south american berry from a tree, some of the trees having poison ivy-like effects. The other peppercorns are all from the black pepper plant and only differentiate because of when they were harvested and dealt with after picked.
