if your story shows up in the text box, it's submitted
2 questions:
Scode and line breaks still count as characters, so including them, everything has to be 5000 characters?
When I submit the writing, the count shows as 5000 characters ^~^" When the "your entry has been updated" page loads, it still says 5000 characters, but with the bottom two lines or so of writing cut out, i.e. the writing suddenly drops off in mid-sentence. I've tried re-submitting, albeit with the same problem. Any help/advice?
EDIT: when I take out a character, the wordcount changes to something like 4850, still with the bottom section of writing missing. I'm under the wordcount, but the end of the writing still isn't showing in the box.

- I am having the same issue. When I start typing as well it goes back to be under 5k :/
Quick question. I'm submitting something to the sculpture category, and entering a single picture of it isn't going to do it justice. Would it be acceptable for me to include a link to an album with more photos in the comments? If not, I'll happily submit a collage of a few images, but it would be nice to know what my options are when taking photos/selecting final images.
Do a collage! If you want to make sure people see more than one picture, best to have them all right there.
I love that specific questions have been asked in this thread, as well as me making a thread in P&B a week ago regarding this contest, and with 3 days to go, it's still unaddressed. Classic.
Does it have to be an outdoorsy adventure? I took adventure in the broad sense. ;O; Hope that's okay.
idk where to ask /flails around
Any sort of adventure is fine! That's why we left it pretty broad so we'd have a lot of different interpretations of it. Outdoorsy is kind of the default since it's a "camp", but really you could be a space pirate or like on an adventure to find the best pie (which I've done and failed).
I really wished our sharing feature in the wardrobe actually worked, just for last minute touch ups, I mean, like the try on feature - would make recreating the avatar way faster ;c I still like the way this contest is set up as anonymous/as possible tho
Yes, I believe so. Just go back to the contest page and click 'Enter Current Human Avatar' again. I made a couple of changes to mine, too, and the Current Entry now shows the new version.
Mmmm, pie. 8D /grabby hands Mega thanks for answering my question. Now I won't have to worry about being disqualified, yay. :3
ROFL!! WOW! That IS brilliant! :) I would love if you submitted an entire story! ❤
Thanks for the help!! I made some changes, so I hope it looks better.:) Good luck to everyone!! Also I wanted to see about doing the storytelling contest and was wondering if the story has to be only about subeta? For example, say if I use Pokemon Go as a part of the story to add a funny element, would this be allowed? I am already brainstorming something but want to make sure. Thanks.:)
if you submitted a story for the competition, double check to see if it is all there and the end didn't get cut off. there was a bug that was cutting the end of stories off because the character count was wrong, but it should be fixed now. I'm not sure if what was getting cut off magically reappeared when it was fixed or not, but I wouldn't want anyone to submit a story with an incomplete ending due to a glitch :)
So nice of you to give everybody the heads up! :)
I know a lot of people are doing stories and are going near the character limit, so it could potentially affect a lot of people, and I'd hate to see that happen. voting on a bunch of stories that don't quite end in the right way would be weird too. so I thought announcing it like this would be the best course of action. that way people can tell their friends and have them check and it hopefully doesn't affect anyone when the voting process begins :)
I was told last night that it should be fixed. Let me bug some people about it.
