I didn't carve either. Simply because the pumpkin was too small and I decorated our staircase in HP-style. xD (And I admit I was lazy for avoiding carving, but I didn't want to fiddle with an hokkaido pumpkin. :'D )

thats why I am glad that it was a pumpkin carving OR decorating contest...some pumpkins just dont lend themselves well to being carved, but inspire us to decorate instead :)
