(Nonetheless, I hope you feel better. I think it's just a crazy time because people are going back to school and are trying to get back into the routine of things. It really really weird that I'm not back in school. But I need to start getting ready for grad school applications.

(( you've not picked something bad. At least on my end I've had a series of hospital stays and very bad debilitating migraines that have taken over my life. They started the last week of WS and have into yes til now. I'm currently trying other ideas for management and have seen a new set of doctors. I'm really hopeful that I'll get back online soon. As it stands right now though, looking at my tv screen/computer screen/cell phone screen causes me immense pain and vomiting. Writing this is taking all my will power. I just thought it was important enough for me to write/you to know that you are doing a fabulous job!! I can only be on about 1 min every few hours. So I've run out if min already. Lol. hugs tight I will come back as soon as the migraines are back under control. Don't give up though. In my head I am responding and RPing along. I miss it so badly!!!))

Paddy ran into the club meeting, wondering what Magnus had planned. She'd been so caught up with writing assignments and her prefect duties that she'd missed a few days, and hoped she hadn't missed out on anything too important. As she entered the room, she noticed a load of funny-looking items on the table. She didn't recognise most of them, but she did spot a Sneakoscope that looked just like the one her Uncle sent her for her birthday last year. She hoped it was more reliable than her though, as her Sneakoscope seemed to malfunction and just whistled the entire time until she shoved it into her case to muffle the noise. "I know this is a sneakoscope," she said, spotting Magnus standing near the table," but what're the other things you've got here?"

( OOC: Sorry for the delay, but RL was kicking my butt last week and refused to let me do any RP)

(OOC: I haven't had much time to catch up yet. This past week was pretty bad (migraine-wise)...I can't remember when was the last time I had a migraine-less day. I've also been busy with move-in day at school and meetings (meetings and more meetings T.T). I've barely have time to sleep. Classes and my general extracurriculars start this week so I'm not sure how much free time I'll have. I still got to figure out my schedule. I'll definitely be able to post Friday/next weekend...maybe earlier if I'm lucky.

The new lesson is definitely not a bad lesson. :) I'm not ignoring you or the club on purpose.)

Millie started looking through the objects. She picked up the Probity Probe and took a better look at it. She had heard of them but never saw one up close. "How is it supposed to work?" She asked Magnus.

Magnus smiled brightly at Millie and Paddy. "This probity probe 'ere can detect concealment spells and hidden magical objects. Mum gave me a rememberall so thought if I hid it on me, you lot could see if you can find it. He turned so they couldn't see where he put it and ((its up in his right arm sleeve)) then turned around. "It'll make a noise when it finds it."

(Thanks me too. I hope you're feeling better.)

"Cool" Millie said. "Let's give it a go" She waved it in front of Magnus and it made a dinging noise when she reached his right sleeve. "Either I found it or I broke it" Millie said

"Excellent work Millie, you found it!" He smiled and hid it again. (this time in his shoe) "We can try one of the other ones or keep workin' with the probe."

Millie offered the probe to anyone who wanted to try next

Magnus arrived sporting a new hairstyle, thanks to an accident in Charms class. They were meeting near the Forbbidden Forest again, where he still had the dark detectors as well as a several large bouncy castles. His letter to the club members had instructed the girls to wear trousers or shorts. He took his shoes off and smiled. "Got a wickedly fun idea, me thinks. See, practicing defensive and offensive spells can be painful, so instead of getting a nice 'eadace, I thought we could practice inside these muggle bouncy castles. That way no one is 'urt and it'll be fun. So today, I thought we'd practice the full body bind, which is Petrificus Totalus. I know it don't seem like an important spell but it'll give you time to get away till they can cast somethin' non-verbally."

(( so, because of the site glitches and new plot, I thought of this... if you wanna do dark detectors, feel free to do those as well as the new section, giving everyone plenty of time --I hope-- to enjoy as well as play with the plot stuff. We'll tentatively say end this on the 25th. ))

Katsumi was one of the first to arrive, and the sight of the bouncy castles made her eyes widen when she spotted them across the yard. She had worn a pair of loose, flowing pants as had been requested, and now the instruction made sense. She slipped her shoes off without reservation, her eagerness evident. "I love these things. Muggles can be so creative." Anyone else would have been beaming, but the stoic Ravenclaw had a mere half-smile. "I've never tried this spell before, either."

Paddy took the Probity probe and waved it around near Magnus' pocket. "You must have hidden it well," she said, before waving it near his shoe. Suddenly it made a loud ringing noise, which almost made her drop the probe. "I think I found it," she said, handing the probe over to the next student.

(( I did lol and the body bind was your idea too. lol when you said it I thought oh my word, we need bouncy castles lol. )) "Great job findin' it ! Wanna work on body binding or play with the other detectors?"

Magnus smiled broadly at Katsumi. "Yeah, they are great!" He did look shocked though when she said she never did the spell before, "really? oh I've used it on Flich's cat... got me a week of detentions though." His eyes full of laughter.

Paddy looked at Katsumi and realised just how eager she was to try the full body bind, "I'll let you and Katsumi demonstrate first," she said to Magnus, trying to memorise the spell before it was her turn. "Those bouncy castles are a great idea," she added, "saves us from getting too many injuries!"

(( ^.^ Was it? Hee, I forgot. Oh hello, judgemental Katsumi.))

"On Mrs. Norris?" Her smile faded, and her lips settled into a thin line. "That's not very nice." As much as she disliked Filch and his cat, that was hardly reason to curse either of them for no reason. Katsumi had never been the sort to play pranks in the first place. "She could have been overlooked for hours! I'm not surprised you got in trouble."

Magnus' eyes flashed as he suddenly became angry. "'Ey, I wouldn't do something like that without makin' sure she was found," he said indignantly. "I left a note right near Filch's office where I knew 'e'd be, just accidentally forgot it was my Defense Against the Dark Arts homework on the other side and was signed. But, it wasn't like it was unprovoked either." He crossed his arms in a scowl. He looked at Paddy and tried for a softer tone, "Maybe Katsumi would rather practice with you. Since she don't seem to think much of me." He felt like she stabbed him. He loved animals, especially cats.

She folded her arms right back. "Unless she was casting curses at you, I'd call that unprovoked. Revenge is a petty reason." It was no surprise the caretaker and his cat were so unpleasant, with how everyone treated them. She was upsetting Magnus, and it took a conscious effort to draw a deep breath and take a mental step back from the issue. Katsumi's frown smoothed, and she looked away. "At least you had the sense to make sure. ...I'll still pair with you, Magnus. I just don't think you should be picking on her."
