I was shocked to see the price of a Sex Berry is almost 3mil. Didn't it restock somewhere before? I'm sure last time I bought one a couple of months back it was around 45k...

Which brings me to another question. Can you still change gender through the zapper? I've been trying for weeks and no luck.

I think it still restocks, it has a rarity of eighty. Subetalodge says Magic Box, but that shop got closed and the stock from that shop got folded into the Apocalyptic Apothecary.

My guess is that with the free pet slot from the recent Quest-A-Thon folks have been doing and re-doing their pets (including gender) so the price is temporarily up. r80 is high enough to not vend, so the price may take a while to drop back to whatever is usual.

I noticed when I search for the Sex Berry, it's doesn't say it restocks anywhere - just says 'This item can be found in these locations: Token Shop (not available right now!),Trade Center'.

That's why I wondered if it had been removed from the Apocalyptic Apothecary. Whatever the reason, it's rather irritating xD

The "this thingy restocks from" notice this gets appended to items that are also in non-restockable locations in addition to items that are only from those places. The 1000 point wizard token says it comes from Achievement (which it does) and from the Crystal Shop (rarely) and from Trade Center (why would you do this? ...but yeah, I've seen them there) But you can still get this item the old-fashioned way by converting all your WT into currency using the Wizard Exchange and then cashing it out in chunks of a thousand.

you are welcome! There used to be only a few items that got this kind of mention, usually things that new players would not know about and might overpay for if they didn't know how to get it themselves. Other items got dropped as Battle Loot and glutted the market and folks were all "this item's supposed to be rare, there's a glitch you must fix" and that's why those got added.

There have been multiple Suggestions to regularize this so now there's a lot more of them than there used to be. I think that the Sex Berry didn't used to be restockable, so the original Trivia was the only way to get it for awhile. I know it's been more pricey than it is now in the past.

Maybe someone who knows for sure can add the full explanation of these to the wikia or to Subetalodge. I know there's an explanation for all the rarities somewhere, and those are pretty confounding to me too.

I'm quite sure I restocked some of them at the Food Market in the last months.
