I'd recommend one of my favorite old spooky (not scary but mildly suspenseful and silly/funny) movie. It's called Hold That Ghost. It's an Abbott and Costello movie. It's just a fun movie and spooky in an old fashion way.
“Justice will not be served until those who are unaffected are as outraged as those who are.” - Benjamin Franklin
"Woe to those who make unjust laws, to those who issue oppressive decrees, to deprive the poor of their rights and withhold justice from the oppressed of my people, making widows their prey and robbing the orphan." - Isaiah 10:1-2
I started watching Supernatural on my sister's recommendation. It was around the beginning of this month and my boyfriend and I are already on season 5 (we would be further if there wasn't so much schoolwork, plus he can't binge watch things as long as I can haha!) My sister started last month I think and she's somewhere in season 9. I think they balance creepy and scary with funny pretty well. The chemistry between Sam and Dean is one of the cutest things ever! Except for Castiel perhaps. He's too dang adorable.

I don't watch scary movies, but The Boy looks pretty interesting
Hocus Pocus ... Because that movie is a classic xD And it creeped me out as a child :)
an old movie called Ghost Wind. i have only managed to find it a few times but every time i watch it, it scare the hell outta me LOL
I actually really don't like scary movies and such, but for some reason I really love Silence of the Lambs, even though it's rather more mentally disturbing than scary, but It's so good. So I'd recommend that.
And even though I look away most of the time, my boyfriend and I are currently watching the TV series Ash vs. The Evil Dead and it's not bad. I mean it's still more of a parody type thing with a story, and even as unrealistic as some of the scenes are I can't stand too much of the gore, but I think those who do may actually like it.
My favorite halloweeny movie is Hocus Pocus though. :3 I also love Halloweentown (which I haven't seen in years because I never seem to catch it when it shows on TV).
Every monday in october we do scary movie night. The last one that I saw that was really good was called It Follows. I think all scary movies are hilarious but my friends were pretty scared by it haha.
I've recently been looking up more horror films for Halloween and I found one that I'm intrigued by. I dunno how many people have seen it but Beneath (2007) is really interesting plot-wise. Not a typical horror flick. I'm still trying to muster up the courage to watch it though but that has to be my pick. :)
Supernatural is my favorite TV show (and perfect for this time of year) but it's been on for 12 seasons now so that's a big pile of stuff to watch. For a smaller pile of stuff to watch: a really good movie for the Halloween season is Trick 'r Treat (from 2007) fun and scary.
My go-to Halloween movie that I try and watch at least once a year would be Nightmare Before Christmas, for a kiddie movie there's always Winnie the Pooh's Heffalump Halloween, for spooky fun there is always the old classic Nosferatu and for just plain fun I cannot recommend Young Frankenstein enough.

Hmm, something scary.... Pet cemetery maybe?
All I remember is the one part which made me afraid of what could be under the bed! I saw that when I was still pretty young so that part stayed with me.
(And I don't like super scary movies most of the time)

I love horror. If you want something funny horror stay alive is great as is drag me to hell. I LOVE the scream movies and have seen seasons 1 and 2 of the show which was good. There's always freddy (nightmare on elm street) if you haven't seen them skip 2 it's basically 1 with a male lead. 1 and 3 and freddys new nightmare are the best in my opinion though I think there's 6 or 7 in all. The rob Zombie remakes of Halloween were good too. If you need more feel free to message me xD
Edit: oh and if you haven't seen it American Horror Story is amazing!
Hm, I'm not much for horror as a genre myself but I'd suggest old classics like Nightmare On Elm Street or Friday the 13th ^_^
I really hope I'm not late to claim the boxes. I need the Dark Box (B) in my life. I love bats and that hair girl, stunning job.

I am actually not that into creepy shows or movies (Supernatural is awesome, though ^_^) Yet I would recommend "Solace" with Anthony Hopkins and Collin Farrell - its a thriller, but even this creeped me out xD!
I don´t like horror things at all yet Sam and Dean, I can watch all night - Supernatural it is! <3

WATCH IT. KNOW IT. LOVE IT.
:D
[ not scary or spooky per se but it calls back to 80s horror/thrillers a lot ]
