I really enjoy knitting! I made a sweater for my friend this past Christmas, first one I've actually finished. I'm working on one for myself now and planning on making ones for my brother and sister-in-law for this year's Christmas.

Day One I know it sounds boring but I really enjoy doing calligraphy. I'm not very good at it and can't do anything fancy but I find it very 'zen.'
Those cards are awesome!! :O
Challenge1
I also made a shadow box for a friends christmas present and thought it was cool :O
I just bought my first house and it is on 5 acres of land. We plan on getting goats and horses in the future. I am planning on making home made soaps and bath products using the goats milk. I can't wait to start!
I like doing cross stitching and crocheting. They're both very relaxing. :D
I'd love to purchase Box B and D please. :)
I'm not the least bit artistic and I don't quilt, knit, or anything like that.
I do create stories though! Does that count?

I'd love to learn needle point, but when I was younger I use to crochet. Taught myself with these cards that they use to sell in the hobby stores. I don't remember much on how to do it, but I would love to one day get back to doing both of those. It was relaxing even though it's time consuming.
I want to continue improving my art, but i've been busy with school until 2 weeks ago, so I've gotten really rusty. I always do pencil drawings, though I am interested in using ink in my art as well. Watercolor seems super fun, but I am afraid I'm not skilled enough and waste all the materials.
Cross Stitching! I love stitching lovely pictures and everyone in my family has at least one on their wall. The last one I made was a huge picture of three cats in bright colors for my fellow cat-loving cousin :)

Challenge 1
I don't have a ton of time for crafting activities, mostly because my free time is spent here - Ha! If I did have time though, I would love to take up Chinese calligraphy. I took an hour-long class several months ago for free and it was so relaxing and beautiful. There's a freedom to it that I could really use in my life.
[edit]
- Great minds think alike! :D
- Your plan sounds amazing!
I've been curious about needle felting for a while. I've seen some amazing pet sculptures, and some that are very realistic. I don't think I'd ever be able to stcikwith it enough to be good before getting too overwhelmed, though
I haven't had the chance to try Chinese calligraphy with the brushes and ink - I've only ever worked with pen and ink - but yeah I spend all most of my 'crafting' time here - I miss doing actual art with my hands though
- I've done a fair amount of traditional calligraphy with a pen and ink, but I've only done the Chinese calligraphy once. It was so nerve-wracking trying to learn how to hold the brush and use just the right amount of ink. Once I finally figured it out though, it was very peaceful, and didn't look too awful. I miss doing art with my hands too... Maybe I'll pick up something from a store to work on!
Box A please! Gorgeous items!

I used to try to make simple little clothing pieces (like pants, capes, backpacks) for my smallest stuffed animals, even though they never actually fit them (um). It was pretty satisfying, but it's been a long time since I've even held a needle. u nu; I do still have the fabrics and some thread and ribbons though, if I ever find the motivation to try some more. o vo

I keep meaning to draw more but then I get distracted here and before I know it it's two, three hours later oops
Dat bear plush. _ SO MUCH NEED! May I get Snuggling Box B please? Thank you! <3 ^u^
I have just started learning how to crochet! I'm pretty terrible at it so far, haha. My mom has crocheted for years, but I got inspired to do it after seeing a kit of little cacti that you can crochet and just thought that'd be the cutest thing ever to make for myself and for friends. It'll probably take years to get good enough to make one, but hopefully I'll get there! 😄
