They heyday of the society in Tomorrowland seemed pretty awesome. Not how it is when the majority of the movie is set!

Event 2:
Doctor Who is definitely the future that I want to see :D
The Zoo on CBS... It's gonna happen... for real. OR Under the Dome lol.
I will go with I robot and there will be lots of robots everywhere! hopefully they don't take over us though :D
buut seriously it might turn out like the 100 at this rate :O

Thank you! (and I saw about the bonus, I'm gonna try to enter all 5 contests, I really love the dress)
Event 2 entry:
Okay so, I think I'd want to live in the future JD Robb created with her Eve Dallas detective series. Things aren't perfect (by a longshot) but life is better in a lot of ways. Technology pushes folks out past the planet (we've colonized a lot of places), life is made easier for most folks, and more accessible. People have healthcare, the world gives 0 shits who you love, so long as you're not hurting folks. And granted, you see a lot of the bad side in the books (I mean, she's a police detective, they're crime novels haha), but you also get amazing glimpses into how humanity is working for the betterment of all. That's what I want for us - a future in which tech enhances our lives but also makes things better for everyone.
I am weak for...Back to the Future 2. XD So even if it's not a future that would be super fun to live in....the hoverboards. I gotta.
A future I would like to see.... The first thing that came to my mind was Tomorrowland (idk why I only saw it one time seems so long ago) but I know I did actually enjoy that future-land anyway XD

Hmm, to be honest I think the future would be more of a dystopia so I picked Station Eleven by Emily St. John Mandel....
It's about life after a swine flu like illness called "Georgia Flu" wipes out the majority of the worlds population...but one of the main focuses of the novel is a traveling Shakespearean theatre troupe that comes about after the disaster and it actually outlines a lot of hope that civilization and people will continue to not only just survive but find ways to thrive and live rich lives through art, culture and compassion despite immense hardship... It was a phenomenal look at the beauty that can come about despite tragedy..
Doctor Who. I mean look at how far we spread. We went everywhere. We did it with everything. Look at humanity go, Look at us grow xD
I could see The Hunger Games becoming a reality. Or maybe the book (and new Hulu series) The Handmaid's Tale. Although I'd definitely NOT want either of them to be true. We all just really need to start treating each other like 107% better xD
day 2: a couple come to mind that might be cool, The Fifth Element, or Space Dandy, with different aliens wandering around like it's nothing, or like a couple other people have suggested the JD Robb books (of which i've only read one so far) which apart from the tech upgrades doesn't seem that far from our current time which makes them feel more realistic. but i would definitely love the future to turn out a bit like Ghost in the Shell for sure! with cybernetic enhancements, and being able to link in to the web for a virtual reality type experience would be so cool! plus, i NEED a tachikoma.

Best represents the future... Oh dear... I always loved that Disney show, Zoe something...No, I found it... "Zenon: Girl of the 21st Century". I remember loving that series of movies, and they represented a fun future... A girl, living on a space station? Probably the real future will be something quite a bit more dystopian, though, considering the state of the world economies, weapons that are available these days, our reliance on technology, and the amount people travel around...
Probably really, the future will look more like "The Hunger Games"...

zootopia because i'd like to see us all turn into animals and live in a really cute and colourful city ofc w LUL no but really
or as mentioned above, i could totally see us in a dystopian setting like the hunger games or even battle royale whoa where we're forced to fight for our lives and do really inhuman things and maybe the demons and leviathans rise but then that's just supernatural
but also i saw this science prediction thing once and since the sun is supposed to implode and the earth is supposed to dry out...yeah...i can't come up with any media that's immediately relevant to that because i don't want movies/shows very often
Omg omg omg thank you so much!!! 😍 😍 :D It was funny cause I checked the group ping before the individual ping and was like "Oh, let's see who won last round.." and then I was like what! me! ;A; I'm very happy hahah :'D Thank you so much!!! hugs and :'D
I saw i, ROBOT the other day and it kind of scared me, cause I think that's what future may be like D:
I'd love to say something like the Jetson or star trek but I have a feeling it'll be more like dark angel or the 100.
Games are media, yuss. I fear the world may end up like the world of Fallout, all wasteland and nuclear mutations, etc.
As far as future I would want to see though, I'm going to go with Mass Effect! Not so much the whole galaxy in peril by super bad aliens, but just the insane advancements in space travel and such. Space exploration needs to get there for us, imagine all the wonderful things out there to see!

Ideally the future is one of the twelve colonies from the Battlestar Galactica series:

What media (movie/book/comic/tv show/etc) have you seen that you think represents the "future" best, in your opinion? Or the future that you would WANT to see?
For me would be Futurama, even tho the whole destruction of the civilizations on earth repeatably, but after a while, they are all happy and peaceful most of the time different types of aliens, plus even AI's are coexisting, something we are afraid off now. All in all it would be just fun, more advanced, the same problems, less humans more diversity tho.
box A please~ (my reaction when the bonus is sold out: T_T)
And entry for Day 2 I JUST finished reading Arena by Holly Jennings and I thought is was a really cool take on what the future could be, the concept of a fully immersible VR program is not new, but he VR coloratation to your physical health is really cool. I think it's a probable future of sports and gaming. Kinda cool
And my entry for day 2:
I haven't seen or read any futuristic stuff in the last few weeks/months except the Guardians of the Galaxy vol 2. But I'm able to say what I don't want to see :D Definitely passing on: - alien invasions/wars - hunger games - zombies - transformers But honestly I wouldn't mind some technology from Dr. Who, Futurama and the Marvel Universe 😂
