Hello my dear, welcome to Subeta!

On the left you have your sidebar, there are two tabs, events and dashboard. The dashboard tab has all of the widgets you've selected (as has shown you). The events tab shows all of your site events, such as forum pings or any alerts you have set.

I think by default the sidebar is set to 'Smart' meaning when you have events, the events tab displays, and when you have cleared all your events, it shows the dashboard. You can fiddle with how you like it under Personal > User Dashboard > Preferences on the top nav bar.

If you were completing the tutorial, Sarah's Quests are located in Subeta > Veta Lake > You see her standing outside a house by the waterside right at the front bottom of the map.
