Congrats! To be honest I just want time to fast forward to the marriage part. I have been engaged since December of 2014 and the wait is just a pain. My life will get so less stressful after the big day.
: I FEEL YOU. I've only been engaged since this past summer, but I'm already like... can we just be married now?
I had the whole wedding planning stuff done 2 weeks after our engagement. It is literally now just us waiting. Almost everything is already prepaid and taken care of. I am just missing the gifts for guests and the bridal party. But ugh! I also am tired of extended family being up my butt about the wedding.
: Yeah, I'm still planning... but I don't really enjoy the planning / drama over planning ... or the annoying-ness of the extended family, as you've said.
I swear people I haven't even met in my life are coming out of the wood works to give me an opinion about my wedding. I hate planning which is why I did it all asap so I didn't have to deal with it. That is the part my family is upset about. Because I did it all in 2 weeks instead of bursts here and there.
: I think you were smart. I wish I just planned everything without allowing time and space for people to screw with my head with their opinions. xD
^_^ Ahhh the joys of - Fixing/moving/marriage all at once. hugs Good Luck Perm. don't worry about the site once you get those keys.

I feel you big time. I am not looking forward to seating arrangement time. It is gonna be just back and forth bickering between people being like I wanna sit next to so and so but if you so dare put so and so near me drama. So I am moving from New York to Tennessee. I already have the keys we just have to do some updating. Redo the floors, remove all the atrocious wall paper to paint, redo the kitchen. It will get done. We are driving down every time we have time off from work and also using that time to drop off small stuff so in June we just have the big stuff left.
:
D: Yeah. It's all so stressful.
Just remember it is your wedding and your day. It is about what you want. Only uphold traditions you like and only invite the people you like.
I'm just chilling on the Zero-to-Hero waitlist at the moment. I really want to do the challenge, but recently life has gotten crazy! I started a new job a month ago, and the next few weeks after the new year will likely be busy. I'm trying to learn every aspect of the lab that I may at some point have a hand in... plus I just got some new cookbooks for Christmas that I'm working on reading through. Once I finish reading them, I have a few more I may buy with Christmas money/gift cards. I'm a pretty good baker, but I'm still working on becoming a better cook. There's always room to improve anyway
Congrats to you both on your upcoming weddings! That's really exciting :)
: Truth! ❤
Yeah life is fun like that. Teach me your baking ways. I fail miserably at baking, even so though, I put a ton of baking stuff on my registry. Adrian has the cooking part down, but I at least want to make yummy desserts. I need to learn some next level stuff because out of the box mixes are sad.
I have a lot of little tricks for various things, but overall, it's really just a matter of following directions. It seems simple, but a lot of people struggle with it because there's a lot of steps that come across as really subjective. It definitely takes practice. Cookies are usually a good place to start. I swear by my insulated baking sheets because they heat really evenly. If you're into cakes, get some of the anodized aluminum pans. I highly recommend the Fat Daddio's brand. I use their stuff for all my cakes. And line everything with parchment paper! It makes life SO much easier :)
I'm dying to get an apartment with a big enough kitchen that I can get a stand mixer. The hand mixers are a good arm workout though, especially when making Swiss meringue buttercream where you have to mix it for like 20 minutes. Those little hand mixers start to feel heavy after a while lol
Congrats on the upcoming marriages! It will get here before you all know it trust me! I got engaged in dec. and was married in Sept. 16 years ago!
Perm we will be neighbors! i live in north alabama. i do work in Tennessee every week though too. its pretty and omg so much cheaper than NY! Im sorta still in the zero to hero hunt. i have not cleared my till but i have spent lots of the other vault monies. I still have almost 1billion still. I will let you know if i decide to drop all the way out. Im being a bit impatient about working on collections and i just had to buy stuff lol. i have had fun though saving up!!!

I am gonna visit you then! I seriously will do that. But yeah you totally spend your non-till money. The till is your vault in this case. Yeah we are moving from a room into a 3 bedroom house. So finally we will have a kitchen! So now I can stock up on a crazy amount of cooking things
I do not have a lot of extra space in my apartment for the amount of baking supplies I keep accumulating. I literally just have a giant Amazon box that I use to store most of my baking supplies. I need to buy something else bulky though -- my box is starting to break. (I should probably just get a legit box at this point though.) As you start to get into baking, it just starts to take up more and more space!
I really want an extra freezer to store extra baked goods. It just me and my boyfriend in our apartment, and it's hard to bake for just two people. And yay on the move! That's so exciting :) I've heard Tennessee is beautiful, just hard to move down south for the biological research I do. That, and the seasons. I don't know if I could get used to not having some sort of a winter, but then again I've been in New England pretty much my whole life.
Congrats on getting married soon yall :) It's an important mile marker in your long lives....as far as the CW, I like the one on the ground best <3
