It's 77 degrees today ,High is suppose to get to 85 degrees nice & sunny out =) I haven't been out today so I'm not sure how hot/muggy it is.

May not be on this weekend still storming here and is to stick around until next tuesday...lol if I can get on I will be here.

the movie was really so cute!
I didn't see "Finding Dory" in 3-D, just the regular version. My parents have a 3-D television and when I watched something on it once I got a terrible headache, not sure if it was the glasses or not. The lunch with my friend went nice, we hadn't gotten together since my birthday in February so it was nice to see her.
Mary I'm so glad you liked the little emoticons, as you know I'm quite addicted to them.. lol
I'm so happy the cooler weather has come back that week of over 100 was awful!! I know it will be back but I am going to so enjoy this nice weather...
Nikolai sent me the Outlander series of E-books 1-7 and I'm SO excited to read them since I have to wait another whole year until Season 3!! UGH! haha

I thought I'd have to take off the glasses and watch the movie without, which you can do now. But 3D has gotten so perfected I really enjoyed it. I'm glad your lunch with your friend was so enjoyable. A few of us decided we would get together for lunch one every other week so we wouldn't lose touch over the summer. Everyone gets so busy having company and taking vacations if we don't make a point of getting together we just have time to say hello at church and that's not enough to keep up on each others lives. So happy that you have a relief from the extreme weather! Hope it lasts a long time. Wonderful of Nikolai to get you the Outlanders books. I'm still looking for it to come on netflix here. I'll have to see if the books come in large print. If they do, the library will be able to get them for me.

My granddaughter is home to stay. So nice to have her livening up our house. She got home on Thurs afternoon and her friend who is a man (not boyfriend yet) got here Friday night. We hadn't met him and she's only known him a short while. She met him when she was in L.A. but only briefly so they've been texting, etc. He lives in Calgary, so strange that they met there and now won't live very far apart. He slept at her mom's house and she stays here so we kept them apart as much as we could. haha They seem to be a good match and he's a pretty impressive young man, so we'll see how it goes. He just stayed a couple of days and will be gone for 12 weeks. He works on cruise ships and has been all over Europe. Was heading for Denmark to catch the ship this time. Works for Disney cruise line, that's how he happened to meet her in L.A. It's a strange big world!

You won't believe this one.My daughter has finally grown up & stopped playing around with all these guy's that are not right for her.Of course her meeting them in a bar doesn't help either.She had all these, I'm not going to marry rules hahahaha I'm not going to marry or go with someone that's short,he has to have red hair,she is going to get married in the same church Me & my husband got married in.Which is also the church my mom & dad got married in.& she tells them right up front about getting married in that church.Me & my husband just laughed.She's 29 now.She decided to go on a dating site.I can't believe it.My husband just told me yesterday.She started talking about her date with him last night for today. I'm like really.She meet this guy that lives about 5 minutes down the road.She's been texting & talking to him.He is a little shorter than her.He is 5'7 she is 5'9. He is clean cut.works at a clothing store selling suits.She's going out on her first date with the guy tonight.He wants to be a politician.He keeps calling her senator Daily's wife.That's his last name Daily, I guess.He sounds like a really nice guy.I hope everything works out for my daughter also.
They are so cute to look at & they liven up the board too.I smile every time I see them :D

, My goodness Mary, Cupid is really busy lately! That's so cool that your daughter went on a dating site and met someone who is a neighbor!!!!

My unmarried granddaughters are 25 and 27 and rarely dated. They had lists too. First on the list was a Christian who lives his life for Christ - not in name only. Okay that limits it way down, so not many dates ever for them. First the 27 yr. old started dating her best friend's brother so she knew he met the first criteria, but not tall, 5'7". She's only 5'3 so guess she thought that was tall enough. haha He looks like all the popular male actors, rugged, with a 5 0'clock shadow, so that met the bill, etc. So they're serious and that started in November.

Now the 25 yr. old has a friend who meets all of her criteria. His dad is a pastor and he can discuss the Bible with her and is serious about his life being for Christ. She wanted someone who loved to travel because she wants to continue traveling, etc.He's a Technical Analyst on Disney cruise ships. Also wants someone who is older and mature, he's 32. This man is also 5'7 and she's 5'5. She says that's o.k. she won't wear heels and he's "ripped". If that means muscles he has them. haha He and his mom own a fitness center and my granddaughter is all into eating right and being fit. Come to find out he also made out a list years ago. He brought it with him, gave it to her and just said, read this, you'll get it. So she read it and it sounded just like it was describing her. I pray your daughter and my granddaughters have all met the right match. In my case I hope they get married and have babies while I'm still alive. 😄 I have one more granddaughter who isn't married yet and up to now has had no interest in a guy. She's been living with our married granddaughter and her husband and kids, going to university and working as a life guard in the city most of the year but at her Dad's camp in the summer. She hasn't told her sister yet but she's planning on getting a place of her own in September when camp is over. So she's moving on to independence and might finally have her eye on a guy too. That would blow us away and would be a good thing. On the other hand her sister will really miss her because she's so great with the kids. Before she got married she made sure her husband would let her sister live with them because they're so close. He must have really wanted her badly because he agreed. Never thought it would work out but it has for 8 years.

that is so nice you all get together so often. We usually get together every 3 to 6 months but, her husband has been having some health issues so Im not sure when we will be able to get together again.
It must be wonderful to have Kara home now! The new man in her life sounds like he leads a very exciting life..Working on a cruise ship must be such an adventure!! It's so good there paths crossed!
