Eira walked down the corridor, nodding her head as she went. The corridor looked ominous to her like the dungeon corridors that sent a message of death, decay. She felt a chill go down her spine and couldn't help but take a sharp breath in. She still kept her hand close to her side, fingers still tracing the hilt of her blade. Though she had let her guard down momentarily, she still felt the need to be cautious even after the sorcerer's explanation. She could only help but feel somewhat inclined to mistrust the sorcerer to some degree. Even so, she followed with a bounce in her step, simply wishing to return to the task at hand.

"Is there anything I should know?" She asked to break the long silence. "About the king or the others? Anything crucial? I don't like to walk into tasks blind."

Whitelock considered her question, fiddling with his staff as he did so. "The king... You won't need to worry about him. The others... Let's just say they didn't make the best first impression, so we're skipping the formal introductions. You'll be joining five others, as I said. Abeni the knight, Madison the very unreliable mage, David the... deer druid (I think), David the archer, and Ariel the, uh... I don't know what he does, actually."

The sorcerer frowned as he tried to remember any signs of talent from the young man, magical or otherwise, then shrugged when he drew a blank. "I'm sure we'll find out soon. Or he'll die horribly. Either or either. Oh, and then there's me." he added, as an afterthought. "Finest sorcerer in the whole of Kaymru. Which is to say, the only one. Seeing as sorcery relies on one being able to read, you can understand why we aren't more common. Most people just throw herbs and crystals about - witchcraft. Oh, you'll see a lot of witches when we get into the countryside. They'll be able to solve your herb problem, anyway. Every village has a witch. Pentref Ddiflas - where we're heading - should be no exception. As for the monster... Well, they're monsters. Large, shadowy, sharp teeth and claws, sometimes said to speak with the voices of men. That last one may just be a rumour, though."

I spotted the open sign on the forums and love the direction this is going...Can I join? ^.^

Sorry Jaz but unfortunately this RP hasn't seen activity since more than half a year ago. As such it can be considered dead. A quick guideline to determine whether or not an RP is dead is whether or not it has seen activity within the last two months. If it has, it might still be active. If not, then it's most likely dead.
