Ok I don't know where to go to create a HAI been all over & can't find the info please I need help

I’m not sure if I’m in the right place to ask this. Is building an avatar not mobile friendly? I’ve tried clicking on my wardrobe after sending items to it but I keep having error on the screen and all I see it the circle avatar with the face only.

Update: nevermind, it just took a long time for the hair to finally show up in my wardrobe >.<

After reading through this thread looking for helpful thread I came across a few that are not on the list I assume because they are old and haven't been updated or are otherwise inactive. If someone had the time to recreate one more of these helpful threads repairing broken links and adding to the lists would that be ok? Are there any recommendations or rules regarding recreating a thread?

haha you would be right! A lot of the threads have become inactive and definitely need updating. If there is someone willing to take on that task and create a new updated post, just let me know (either with a ping or comment) and I'd be happy to lock up the old one as well as add the newer one to this list instead. If you're looking to take content that the original creator has put together I always like to suggest just touching base with them and getting their blessing to do so (if still active). Other than that as long as it appears the listing is inactive/hasn't been updated in a couple months feel free to run away with it and just keep me updated on the changes!

The thread I was most interested in updating was Layering backdrop bits: floor, wall, sky, props, SFX

When I first saw it I thought about contacting the author with more items but then I saw how long has been away. That is when I thought about updating it myself. Since its locked I can't use the quote and just reuse all that coding so it will definitely look different. Was the thread locked just due to its age?

If there isn't a reason to not update this thread I will let you know as soon as I have it completed.

Yep it was locked due to it's age! Which means that anything on it is pretty much up for grabs, if you're up to the task. 😉

I don't see any reason that you can't update it since there isn't anything similar to it in the works on the first couple of pages.

Hey friend, even this comment is old now lol, but I'm finally working on updating this with the help of someone who commented also a few years ago. I'll also be going through the catalog myself and finding things Ive missed c:

I've tried to look for the right thread but I'm kind of lost. I've seen people with HA that are able to cover certain body parts like the legs or arms so they can layer items. For example, see how in my avatar you can still see a part of my right arm under the shirt? How do people do that? Especially with the legs? Is it a thing for gold accounts?

It is still FAR from done but I've began the new version of the layering thread. It is a lot more than I realized at first but I still want to tackle the project. I'm very busy this week so I may not make much progress till next week.

I'm not sure what exactly you are looking for but there are many different ways to hide limbs. The best would be to go to go to the base tab in your wardrobe you can toggle pieces of your limbs on or off. Alternatively there are many items that will cover limbs but before my first suggestion became an option they gave us the Whiteout Pen items in the millionaire center under All Year. If you are trying to add a limb over something that isn't sheer you might try items from the Medicontra shop or the Sheer Gloves for arms. I've never really played around with them for adding limbs but they were the first thing to come to mind.
