Two questions. I read that someone had Carl as an option for her quests. What if someone hasn't completed the map?
Also why weren't more quest givers originally an option?

The map isn't that expensive, and the random event for the map pieces are pretty common. I strongly suggest users complete the map so they can participate in things like Keel Hauliday and other Omen Island related things.
Looking into the Battle Quest issue for the widgets. It's weirdly set up, so it might take some time. :)
while the map might not be 'as expensive' as it used to be it is still pretty expensive for new users.
I figure three(not counting BQ or Major Drills) shouldn't be included(if all 3 of them are that is) Carl, Sarah and Saggi.
I.like that more quest givers were added though.

I've increased the odds of getting the map pieces via random event (which users who already have the map will sell and with more going out means they'll go lower in price). New users can make sP by doing Sarah quests and playing various games. Again, I strongly want users of all type to get the map so they can participate in things like Keelhauliday, have access to shops like the Freylise and Rathskeller, etc. We have the sP guide on the help page for everyone to use to figure out how to make sP rather quickly. I'm going to do a more in depth new user guide that should help people out too!

Sorry if I missed your answer as I haven't read the thread, but are battle quests next at all? It doesn't update how many have been done.

that's awesome. though I thought everyone already had access to rathskeller(and the lodging there) already since it was on the main shop page now.
I'm looking into it! I got distracted with the Special Shop list (and accidently breaking all the special shops whoops). The Battle quest part of the widget is set up in such a weird way compared to the other stuff. If I can't figure it out, I'll bug Grace. :)
I like the new set up for Shinwa's quest. I've already done the quest for today and haven't experienced the new text for the shard collection quests. I have to give my feedback tomorrow.
Okay so...I started Shinwa, was told to see Quentin. Did Quentin, got no bracelet shard, went back to Shinwa and had to "Start Quest" again.....
Second time starting (and heads up, this was all within the last minute and a half) she gave me Carl and I got the shard. I don't understand why it reset after sending me to Quentin though.
[edit] Was nervous for shard 2 since she sent me to Quentin again, but that worked with no trouble.
There seems to be a typo on Shinwa's link when she links you to Cinthia, or at least I keep getting a 404 error for a page that doesn't exist. There seems to be an extra 'explore' tag on the url.
