No, I definitely think something was changed, intentionally or unintentionally. I wouldn't really call it "fixed" though, since it's probably not good for the economy to have every quest consistently turning a profit.
Hmm. I don't really understand this whole "economy" thing. I don't know why people would have a problem actually having the money to actually get things on the site. Rather, it seem people are actually favoring losing their money left and right and being unable to afford hardly anything. I know even with my profits from questing I still have to save for quite awhile just for potions, and thats not including any new items that are released that I might want. God forbid I would even try to collect all new releases.
The thing is, if you're making 5m+ per day, other people can also make 5m+ per day. So if everyone gets 5m+ per day generated from the site, then it's pretty much like nobody made any money at all. Like no, not everyone does their quests and the amount of profit will fluctuate but long story short, if there's more and more money being pumped into the site every day and not enough of it being taken out, the value of sP tanks.
I'm not an expert or anything, but that's what I understand of it.
Hmm I guess so? But whether we make a lot, or a little, the prices of most things still stay ungodly high. But I also think that's why we have so many SP "sinks" as people call it. So that despite the quest we are still losing more money than we are gaining anyway.
Putting more sP into the hands of the users doesn't help reduce the prices of items... It actually causes the prices to go up.
The prices are that high because the sellers are selling those items for those prices. Or at the very least, they can afford to wait for the buyers. Because, well, more sP is being pumped in to the system, like said, for everyone.
The staff is trying to take some of the sP out of the system with these sP sinks, but the people that have a lot of sP tend to want to hold on to it. That's how most of them got all their sP in the first place. So, yeah, it's only marginally effective.
