If you can get an item you want from user shops for less than the cost of an invite, let alone the cost of an invite + the item, then something is wrong with the system.

Any hope on the horizon for invite costs? They've been sitting above 600k apiece for a while now.

My statement makes good economic sense. You'd be right if people paid for their Subeautique Invitations and that is how they were introduced to the site. But they're free.

There is no "official price" for SIs it is entirely arbitrary. I sure wouldn't have spent 600K on an invite six months ago-most of the lines were out for six months and I had all of them, and if I had one to sell, I'd sell it for less. The demand for right now is artificially high, and it is acute because of situational things. As these lines age and people finally read them to all of their pets (I have twenty nine pets I all read to) the price will drop. Amber doesn't need to do much of anything.

In any toy economy that matches capitalism there are many reasons for selling that don't represent a broken system. The person who is selling it for less may have purchased it at a time when the Invitation was cheaper, decided they no longer wish to wear it, or that they'd rather have the cash.

The only reason this would not 'broken' would be if in a fit of irrational exuberance users bought a bunch of Invites they didn't need for the purpose of speculation and got caught out as they bought before the top of the market. Too bad for them, they are making everything too expensive because of their greed and if they now suffer a market correction that's a risk they were taking. Subeta should not support this behavior, and releasing a huge sudden price-dropping glut of more Invites would do exactly that.

If is doing a Janet Yellen and gradually modifying availability without telling anyone explicitly what she's doing instant to instant, this is a good thing. Yes, she could continue to respond here but the more she does, the more she fuels price speculation in Invites themselves, quite independent of whether anyone turns them into wearables or not. She's not trying to vex you.

I myself just got an invitation about 20 minutes ago. I seem to get them fairly regularly. Sometimes 1 in in every 1-2 days. If that info helps anyone at all. I don't know. I don't really pay attention to economy stuff as I don't really know much about it.

Got 2 yesterday

Way too long ago! I feel like I haven't been getting them at all lately.

I also got two yesterday (plus a handful of other REs). Since they became readable, whenever that was, I've had 21 or 22.

I get maybe one per week, I've had 60 stashed away and I used them all cause I can't replace them ç_ç

I got one yesterday and one today, but before that, the last one I saw was on 5/17 - the day I posted here. It really feels like feast or utter famine.

I'm on quite a bit every day with tons of refreshing and haven't been getting very many at all. Same goes with oracle quests. I hoard up items for the beast plus buy tons of cheap rares to frag. I buy hundreds of user shops most days and am an avid restocker too. What with all the page changes both 'tique invites and oracle is extremely rare for me.

Hubby has a little better luck. But his rate of invites has slowed down considerably also. He does basically the same as me isn't online as often bc of work and having to use the phone for access.

I haven't seen on in a while, probably since Vesnali or earlier than that.

tbh I don't get a lot of REs anyway so I am just unlucky but I'd say it has been about 3 months since I got an invite.

I can't remember the last time I got an invitation, and I've had a LOT of page views recently. Mostly from refreshing in the pound. I've been getting other events, just no invites.

going on 2-3 weeks since last one

I just got one, but they do seem to be coming less frequently. I just feel like if the price keeps increasing, its not going to be worth buying them anymore, since the actual items will be cheaper.

So on May 17th I posted in this thread I had not gotten one in over 3 weeks. Then BAM I got one. And I haven't seen another since. It's about to be 3+ weeks again...

Lesson: post in this thread more often, I guess.

I would say I maybe get one a week, which is very sparse considering the amount of page refreshing I do from making profiles. OTL
