Holy crap guys..

So I live on a beach, like right on the beach. Well I just had a cop knock on my door and ask me a cap ton of questions about some girl that I don't know and I was really confused so I was just like "excuse me sir, but what is this about? You can't just come onto my property and ask me a bunch of questions without letting me know why"

and he said a girl came down to the beach with her friends and went missing three hours ago and they have helicopters and ambulances and cops and such around the beach and they are saying she probably drowned ;-;

That's awful! People shouldn't go into deep water without knowing what they're doing. And may I just say I'm green with envy that you live right on a beach?

I live on the privet part of the beach, the beach (like all) is a huge line pretty much and at one point the public beach ends and the privet beach starts where people who live there can enjoy the beach without the many, many tourists and daily visitors. Today is a red fag day meaning there is a huge undertow and they recommend no one goes swimming but everyone just ignores it.

and I get that a lot actually, it cost me an arm and a leg to get this house but I'm so happy with it, bought the property and ripped down the house that was originally there and built my own home on the property. In the end it was about a $650k investment.

LOL, I'll never see that kind of money. What style house did you end up building?

My husband and I built a 3 story contemporary house with a vaulted ceiling in the main living area. It's great for when I am in the master because there is an indoor balcony over looking the living room so I can watch my daughter play.

I love it but my husband wants to move somewhere in the country and sell this place, we may have put $650k into it but it's value is over 900k just because of the location. I don't really want to move but he wants to downsize so that we can get our vacation house in the Dominican.

And how's everyone doing today? I was just out in my garden, which makes me happy. XD I wanted a veggie garden for long and I finally have one. Might have some storms tonight though, rain would be nice, we need it but not a fan of severe thunderstorms anymore. >.<

Here is an update on the missing person thing;; The person who is missing has been claimed dead by drowning and they are forming a human chain on the beach to walk into the water and find her, and there is also said to be a two year old missing

i'm hoping to teach him something new tomorrow. not sure what yet... any suggestions? i'm glad you got out into the garden for a while today :D you'll need to send me some more pics of the garden more developed. i've not seen it since you had put the boxes together

Does he speak? I taught my husky to speak and whisper. XD We've tried to teach Panzer but he's not having it. And I keep forgetting to take pics. >.< I'll take some in the morning when the rain passes.

i'm planning on trying that one. it seems a bit trickier, since he's not really inclined to bark unless someone he doesn't know comes past the house XD i'm going to look online tomorrow to see if i can think of anything i can be bothered teaching him

So it was a man, not a lady. Oops. They have called off the search for him, now they have turned it into a recovery search to recover his body. ;-;
