Why hello there doctor. I was travelling these parts and word reached me that you were looking for someone to replace you. Naturally, I thought I would drop by and see what everything was all about. Looking around, I can tell that you've definitely put a lot of yourself into this place and your work. Ohh... why do I want the job? Well look at me, I was literally made for it. Why yes, my creator, being a doctor as well, put me together just for the purpose of being able to take over for him when he passed. Unfortunately, I was just a prototype and was cast aside. sigh What's that you ask? Oh, this needle and my instruments? It's for my patients of course. It's really sad he has made such masterpieces but a lot of magazines short stories and stuff never got translated anywhere online or irl. He didn't make Suicide Circle though, unless you are confusing with Black Paradox. Ooh, then I think I really might give it a shot! Trailer didn't suck too bad but yeah, like you mentioned, they should stop with the sequels specially when the "primogenitor" sucks. At least SAW was entertaining has you wanted to see what new way of torture they'd fit in, though it they still overstretched it for the $$$$ IT really annoys me with series too, like Supernatural. Really liked the show but now they are just sucking the cow dry until there will be no cute cow left to remember. Stopped watching in season 8 or 9.

[.Oru] Oh that would be a good tribute!! Especially Yon. Yeah, I just tend to check back in with his work every couple of years and there's something new. I wonder why it takes so long. Maybe there's not a big enough market? I can't really believe that, but it doesn't make much sense why more of his work hasn't been released. Yep! That's the one. I've always called it Suicide Club and it's stuck with me for some reason. I also called the soul orbs, dragon balls, because I'm dumb and like to rename things and then forget the original name. Suicide Circle was good though.

I really enjoyed SAW 1 and 2. I watched SAW 3 because I thought it was the end and was going to close the story. Then it kept going and I gave up lol. Yeah I'm way behind because of that. I feel like they spent a few seasons making fillers and I just couldn't deal. I'm starting to feel that way about the walking dead but I'm addicted at this point.

Nah, there is definitely a market and he is one of the Prime Fathers of horror in Japan but... most scanlators either go for very mainstream stuff and other people who know japanese read it and don't bother to translate to others (since they don't have to, ofc, or have translating services for cash). I didn't feel Supernatural was much filler as I viewed more like Criminal Minds or Law & Order in the way that it was episodical with a plot not totally centered. She is a skilled alchemist and healer and also a great story teller. Like Scheherazade, she relates long and gripping tales from alien lands and planets, and her patients hang on to her every word. She once even performed a appendectomy only with the help of some well placed acupuncture needles and an exciting story about two ladybugs who defeated a yeti way down in the ice fields! You can´t go wrong with choosing Nijah as a replacement. She´ll take good care of your patients and in no time, all of the monster who try invade your realms will eat out of the palms of her hand! Wouldn´t that be the best solution all in all?

Honestly I don't stress too much about commissions, I have waited for a comm for 8 MONTHS one time, so I don't feel that bad about taking a week or two ^^; I just keep them updated and let them point out if they feel like I should change something - I know many people won't but I have done all I could ye? My passion is medicine in any form, I also love to read when I can and go to parks and nature stuff. [.Oru] I understand online. I patiently waited 6 months to a year for some chapters for manga or manhwa but I meant in stores. I read my first book by him at the library as a kid and skidaddled my ass to Borders for more, only to find like three or four books. I was surprised and now with the printed press becoming less of a necessity, finding thing by him has gotten even worse.

Oh, but you don't understand how bad it is lol. I've been calling my pet Sebastian, Bastian. When it came time to commission a profile, I messed around and used his nickname when applying, so now I have the wrong name on his profile. D: I didn't even catch it until like two months ago and I've had that profile for a while now. Never have I been so disappointed in myself lol.

I probably have a short attention span when it comes to shows. I'm a fan of miniseries type shows. That being said, Richonne is a thing?!?!?!?! I haven't watched this season yet because I work when it comes on, but YOOOOO I'm so ready!! I probably shouldn't ask more. Now I need a long weekend to binge watch.

I'm more curious about the following things (I'm a list person):

• Did you know the language before you enrolled/are there people in your class who didn't?
• Does any part of the major require you to study/do research abroad? If so, is there a minimum length?
• Are you learning how to speak the language, how the language works, just cultural studies, or a mix? And if you are learning the language, are you learning both Chinese and Japanese at the same time?
• Annnnd how did you choose the school(s) you decided to apply to?

I'm from the US and all of the schools I'm currently looking at are here (one is in Hawaii which is still the U.S. but that's an expensive ass plane ticket) so I know it's going to be different, but hearing someone's experience about it is still helpful for me. I took Spanish and Italian for 4 years each, but if I applied I'd actually go for Korean studies (zero experience beyond what my friends and roommate have taught me). I was looking for a major that would allow me to take two languages at once (Korean AND Spanish because it literally grates on my nerves when I'm THIS CLOSE to understanding everything customers who come to see me and don't speak English but I can't respond to make life easier) but that doesn't seem to be a thing so here I am. :/

Okay so, take all this with a pinch of salt because from what I know of US universities it is absolutely nothing like here.

• My major is in Chinese with min. in Japanese. I knew some random japanese words, like the lil weeb I was, but that's about it. 95% of those who come don't know the languages and some even come cuz they think it'll be easy / the entrance grade here is pretty low. They mostly leave within the first months because Chinese and Japanese are really hard to learn (in the sense that you really have to put in effort and study) and we are expected to be fluent enough to live and attend uni in China within 3 years (minimum time of the major); -As it is main Chinese in the end of the major we have*** to apply to scholarships paid by Confucius Institute to attend the main Chinese Universities and stay in China for around a year. Japanese is a minor so we don't have to go to Japan. However, if it's something you intend on making it your career, there is always scholarships to further your studies in the respective country's universities, there were a few here for Japan (but alas,I wasn't picked);
• I learn both at the same time. If you want to learn languages like Chinese or Japanese (your case, korean), you can't just "learn the language", doesn't work like that and run from any major that tells you that is all you need. I have various classes, to name a few: Economic Touristic and Human Geography of China; Popular Culture of China; Classic History and Culture of China; Contemporary History ofChina; Classic chines poetry; Intercultural studies Portugal/China; Economical and Political China, Market and Cultural Empresomethingidkenglish; Geography of Japan; Japanese Culture, aaand you get the gist now but regarding Japan. Plus obviously a lot of classes only related to the language itself. We are expected to have HSK4 or 5 completed in order to finish the course, which is a international proficiency test. 95% of our teachers are native speakers that either come for a few years to teach this particular course and go back to their country or have lived here recently but still originality from said countries. This is very important and don't join any course that won't have at least half the teachers be natives of said language or part of it.
• I was actually on Economy and hated and what I really wished for was Psychology but if I did that I would never get a job (too many unemployed in that area) so I decided to go for something that still was needed here and I really find the japanese language interesting so.... there! Unfortunetly, I discovered I hate studying so that doesn't help my case, heauhehaeuhue. In choice,I chose the only one that had what I told you above, actual relation with the country we are trying to learn the language for, good teachers and suitable plan of classes.
