I have received many anonymous gifts. I try to post a thank you in the anonymously gifted forum. My way of giving back to the community is giving random birthday gifts when I see a birthday cake, not necessarily people I know. I also like sticking stickers, sharing extras when there are floating items and tot.

I've been anonymously gifted once or twice since I've come on! It's been so sweet coming on and seeing something from my WL pop up in a box! If/when someone gifts me, I always gift someone. I love giving people things!

I've actually been hoarding since last Lumi for next year because I want to spend so much and give people exactly what they want for Lumi! I'm looking forward to giving people their WL!

Definitely one of my favorite things on subeta is the ability to anon gift people. It's just so much fun for me to do. Whether it's seeing in the forums someone needs a pick me up or just finding something in my vault that I don't need/want and sending it off to someone that does. :) It's fun to be random.

I've been anon gifted and some have come just when I needed that pick me up. And sometimes they are just so thoughtful and hilarious. I envy some people's creativity in some of their anon gifts. :)

I don't leave my room either so they get locked in there with me!

For today's post. I would say lumi is always a big surprise! You never know till Christmas day! Several of my friends gave me super amazing wl items that I love! I also tried to repay the favor by giving them great gifts too. Also when Drills asks me to send a gift I try to send my friends something cute or a wl item or I find a newbie to give something to that they don't have.

i love love love getting and giving gifts! Sending out gifts/anon gifts to birthday people or just someone who helped me with something. Luminaire is great, because everyone is mad slingin' gifts around, but it's the rest of the year that is the really special stuff. (Don't get me wrong, gifts are gifts and Luminaire is great! It's just more special when it's /not/ Luminaire. If that makes sense.)

It always perks my day right up to receive a gift. And that excited anticipation for someone to log in and find the gift you sent them is so fun! Favving avvies that i love or posts that are great, or leaving someone a comment on their profile just to say "Hey, your HA is awesome and i hope you have a great day!" is a great way to help me try to pick myself up on a rough day and maybe give someone else a boost if they're going through a rough patch too.

i run an ask blog for Subeta on Tumblr and I revealed myself after Morostide 2015 only to be FLOODED with gifts like what is this

I wish I knew who these people were so I could gift back because all of them were WL items....;;; but i guess the only way I can pay it forward is to keep working hard on the blog aha

My entry for may 15:

I had made a mistake, i accidently zapped one of my pets. It was a colour i painted myself which is expenside. I got despaired and tried to find someone who could sell me the potion for a little lower price and asked at the boards.

I got surprised the next days with an absolutely amazing, kind and lovely person here, who sent me the potion <3 Thank you so so so so so much again!!! Im still so glad and happy!

Also at a time i helped someone and answered a question, i got a present from one of my wishlist items. I was so surprised i didnt expected that at all! Thank you so much again!

I am so glad, and want to say thank you to all who have the patience, if i dont get some things because english isnt my native language. Thank you that im still a part of your community <3

I want to save up for my second lumaire this year to surprise other and make them happy.

I've gotten some anonymous presents, presents from random people and from friends as well. I've already started paying it forwards, as I really enjoy people's delight at getting a random wishlist item from strangers.

My May 15th Entry

Whew, This got long, Apologies in advance! D:

This year I found myself in a bind. I got down in the dumps and overwhelmed with real life during the Masquerade and fell severely behind on my trinkets game and then they announced the closing of the 2012 tab. When I feel behind, I panic and when I panic I can't help but to vent but when and heard my troubles, every single one jumped to help me. I felt so adored and I'm so thankful to them. As a collector of literally all Wearables, Minions, Books, Plushies, and Beanbags I can get my hands on, I had a huge goal to meet, and they helped me get almost everything.

Dot and Mage have also jumped to my Rescue in starting the PAWS! project. Dot helped encourage me and find the resources I needed, and Mage was right there when I needed graphics and coding help. Both provided a bundle of energy and encouragement too and still do. Thank You both Ladies, I couldn't and probably wouldn't have done this without either of you and I'm glad I did because PAWS! brings me a lot of pride and joy.

Lumi is always exciting too, and one of my favorite holidays here. I make it my plan to always try and get something for each and every friend I have, then acquaintances, and then I go out and seek random people doing good and try to leave them things under their tree as well. When I do quests during Lumi and get something really good, I search Wishlists to leave it under. Last but not least, I pick several friends, and one friend in particular and I stuff as much as humanly possible under their tree, mostly from their wishlist if I can. This year, I got to fill 's tree with Minions for her Minion Gallery. But part of the way through she caught onto my theme and did the same back for me. Opening my Lumi tree was like, "Oh.. My.. God. LOOK AT ALL THIS CUTE."

Last but not least, Anon Gifting.

I'm a little shy about this story, but it's important to explaining why Anon Gifting is so important to me, so I hope you'll understand the downer moment. It's something I still feel tremendously bad about, especially towards the user in question.

Once upon a time, I tried out Anon Gifting for my Birthday. Back then, people posted about their Anon Gifts in the Shoutbox.(Maybe they still do, Not sure.) It was thrilling watching people so excited at the gifts I was giving out and made my Birthday one of the most fun days I ever had.

Unfortunately, due to a mix up between me and another Anon who was being creepy, when I revealed myself the next day to a few people I had told I would, one user got upset at me, and feeling extremely hurt that they not only wouldn't recognize that I wasn't the same Anon but continued to talk badly about the event publicly through out the day, I gave up Anon Gifting all together. I felt wrongly publicly ashamed and humiliated, and like my good deed attempt had not only gone to waste but instead had horribly hurt someone, even if it was a mix-up..

For a long time, I stopped Anon Gifting.

After talking to some friends over the years, I realized one User's Misunderstanding, can be many other's joy that day and sometimes, it was exactly what they needed. So I returned to Anon Gifting, but with the goal to seek out people who are extraordinarily kind, having a rough time, or just seem deserving of some extra love. I even have an extra super secret Anon Name :D As someone super shy to talking to people, it's nice to have a way to reach out and say, "Hey, You were really awesome today! And I thought you should know, but I'm shy, so umm, HERE! .///. "

If you ever feel like I did for some reason, or end up in a similar situation, I hope you will keep persevering. Sometimes things go wrong, even when we are doing our best to do something out of kindness, but I guarantee that if you meant it from your heart, someone out there does appreciate it and will see your true intent.

The people on the Borrowing and Lending for Achievements are alwasy so wonderful and helpful...never asking for anything in return, but I always try to go through their WL and gift them with a little something they want for being so kind.

During morostide, luminaria and other events I love to help people out who still need the floating items for achievements.

I too have received some totally random anonymous gifts over the years. In fact, I got a 500 point wiz token from some lovely person just last week!

I usually send a bunch of useful items to newbies whenever Drills tells me to use the Gift Center. I think it's a nice way to make people feel welcome from the start ^^

Subeta is full of incredibly generous people. Giftbombing, random anons, people who want to give people somethign for helping, people who give newbies SB paintbrushes or random things, even little ones. This is probably the friendliest website I've been on.

My best generosity experience, though, wasn't for me but for someone else. I just got to watch in awe as the SB helped someone doing Item Hunt knock off the final five levels. And that accursed kanis was being greedy, too. And everyone was so /happy/, cheering the person on, offering funds or even the item -- I think one was unbuyable, but I can't remember for certain...It's amazing. I wish I'd not been just this side of broke at the time, so I could have helped too.

Another time a friend of mine and I were discussing my plans for a new pet, and I just mentioned in passing I hoped I would net enough steamworks trinkets to turn her steamwork, and shortly thereafter a gift box with a yunium key turned up. I was absolutely floored. <3

SP is often an issue for me (my wardrobe and love of shiny things is my downfall. What is impulse control, anyhow?) but I like to help where I can. Guiding newbies, handling questions if I know the answer, gifts that aren't necessarily very pricey but fit the person or something they like.

One of my forum groups has a wonderful Luminaire tradition. We have a little elf that poses riddles or gives us clues, as well as giving us a number of anonymous gifts. I've gotten a number of other wonderful anonymous items from that group.

I've also gotten some random anonymous gifts over the years, usually some of the plushies/beanbags/trading cards on my WL that I'm missing from my collections. :)

I try to pay it forward when I can. I send some anonymous WL items to friends/random users when doing Major Drills (been a while since I've attempted to do his quests though). His quests are definitely a great way to send some love around!

Umm... I super appreciate a new friend i have. They have been so very generous. ... I have been sick and a bit moody from it which happens cuz i gots bipolar. Sometimes people get turned off when im down and shut me out leaving me feeling awkward and invisible. Now my cults asp and lrvt are awesome and not that way really but other places like sb real life family and so on are that way. When im that down i just need someone to be there. Xpheonx has been that person and i only just met them. Thank you hun. For being a support and the gifties. You especially helped me out of mybad mood this week. Hugs.

Where to even start???

Most recently many people got together to find a way to beat the new Troll battle challenger. So many people worked very hard and almost everyone continued that work to help others, even after getting the wins they needed for themselves. Several of the group admins put in very long hours keeping things organized. Special mention to: Naoto - who started the group and kept it organized as it quickly grew beyond expectations. She did all that while being sick herself, finishing her school year, and getting ready for a new job. Because of her dedication so many others were able to beat the Troll five times (or more) and get those awesome drops.

As for group members, they all started working to help each other and when winning weapons were found they all tried to share even though most of them were total strangers when the Troll first appeared. Special mention to: Aloysius - who quickly bought two of a winning weapon after getting his own wins just to lend them to others who could no longer buy them for themselves because the price had gone up from a few thousand sP to 2.5 million sP in only a few minutes. He did this knowing they would not be worth what he paid a few minutes later when the winning weapon changed. Hamda and Wesker who both sent me a winning weapon that we discovered usually broke forever on the first hit even though I said twice I'd wait for the next winner to be found and after it had gone up in price in a few minutes to 1 million sP (and Wesker even sent it gift wrapped :-) ) Neither expected to get anything in return - not even their weapon back. Galaxia who after leaving the group herself added sP to the group bank and bought and sent weapons to be lent out to group members. I saw many others lend or buy and lend expensive weapons to total strangers who needed them once a winner was found - all completely without collateral. And every single loan was returned as soon as the winning weapon changed. I saw many people patiently waiting for others to get wins to try to share even at first when we weren't sure they would still be able to get credit for their own wins after waiting.

Snowman building. A wonderful battle between my team (Team BFF) and Team Nature for third place. So much friendly banter back and forth with team members posting on the other team's thread. As soon as the event ended and Team BFF took third place, several Team Nature members posted on the BFF thread offering congratulations and thanks for the friendly rivalry. And several Team BFF members received congratulations gifts sent by at least two anonymous Team Nature members.

One Subeta user who started a giveaway and made one day's activity the sending of anonymous gifts - all purchased by the thread owner and sent to the rest of us to give out because they wanted to share the pleasure of random gifting with us.

kbbob - who seems to be online all the time because he quickly answers almost any battle question for others - especially those who don't understand why their pet can't battle and those who don't know how to get out of a battle they're stuck in.

And a shout out to grelca who just made an awesome change to the battle drop down boxes to fix that problem!

The entire Subeta staff who remain patient with all the chaos and complaints during times when things are broken or need changes. They somehow manage to fix problems, make improvements, draw new art, create new activities (like baking), run events, note special real world happenings and so much more. They also are very open when mistakes are made or bad things happen and go out of their way to try to thank users for their loyalty, often giving us something special after a problem has been dealt with. Compared to any other site, staff interaction with users is fantastic. Tickets about almost anything are answered - usually within a day, and often in just a few hours. This is truly amazing for such a small group. On another site I had an account hacked, self froze, and then waited months just for an acknowledgement that someone was working on it and even longer to get my account back - and that was standard practice - with dozens of other users having the same (or worse) experience. I hope everyone really appreciates the support we get here.

And, of course, springjoy, Gaia and all their donors who used some good luck of their own as a reason to share with all of us.

I like to give WL items when I see a birthday cake next to someone's name, and sometimes I send gifts to people who have made thoughtful posts or unique HAs, or something that clearly took some time. Subeta's got that nice atmosphere about random gifts.

I am absolutely loving all these stories. It warms my heart that there's so much love shared here. <3
