There are so many things to be thankful for about Subeta. As a Mum, my girls & I started out on Neopets & it gave me time to spend with them online & monitor... that was in 1999. Wow that's so weird typing that!
Over the years my oldest found & Subeta & started playing here. My other 2 daughters & myself + a few friends migrated over as well & we absolutely love it! I think my most favorite thing is dressing up my avatar. The possibilities are endless & I love that there are many items that pertain to our interests, especially Disney :) I lost my original account, but started this one so all of us have been here for just a month shy of 10 years!
We had the opportunity to also go to a Subeta meetup & meet Keith, as well as Alex (one of their coders). We had a pretty good turn out & had a fun day in Golden Gate Park.

Gemma drew us some really cute art to take home of some of our pets. Here is one of my daughters pets here, Tetley that she drew.

I have tried a few of the sorts of sites before, but never felt such a sense of community anywhere else. I have gotten random presents sent from other users, prompts and chats and general friendliness. Thanks to a few key people, such as , I felt right into the rhythm of it, and, unlike other sites, I feel brave enough to participate in events, talk to random people and ask questions when I'm unsure about something.
Furthermore, I am particularly enjoying dressing up the HA and having the judgement free space to have fun with some horror themed stuff.
After being the winner of a flower competition during Vesnali I'm even getting to see one of my little horror short stories come to live with an illustration of my pet Gyx. It's a project I've really enjoyed working on with the talented illustrator, and I can't wait to see how it will turn out.
Yey to Subeta, providing me with a little break from daily life and obligations.

I love the community of subeta. The people are mostly friendly and kind and helpful. The mods/admin are really involved, and listen to the users. Not everything is going to be perfect, but it helps that we have input, and that they respond to questions and concerns (unlike somewhere else =P).

I love that this place tries to include everyone, people of all sorts and identities. The NPCs are great. <3 Jaxian is such a cute couple, I can't even.

For events, Masquerade, Morostide, and Epicon are my favorites. <3

And I love how I've found a bunch of wonderful people here! I pinged just about everyone the first day. ^.^

There are so many things I love about Subeta.

First of all the inclusiveness - everyone is welcome and welcome to be themselves.

The responsiveness of the staff. I don't know any other gaming site where you can take out a ticket about anything and get a response within hours. I love that staff members participate on the site. I love the acknowledgement of real life events - such as the recent news post about a data breach on another site, or the tributes to world events or the loss of loved people. As a former programmer, I also really love how Keith and the staff keep us updated on the technical side of things.

My Subeta friends (and, hopefully, new friends to be). There are just so many friendly, helpful and supportive people here and I often see someone performing acts of kindness to others (like creating this giveaway).

The variety of activities - you can quest, battle, play games, create your human avatar, own pets, take part in events, catch bugs, bake, be a gourmand, restock ... . It seems to me that there is something for everyone to enjoy. My favorite thing is books - I love to collect books (here and also in real life). I'm working on my new bug collection and I am hoping to start baking soon.

I like how CSC and items bought with CSC can be acquired with sP giving everyone at least a chance to get something they really want with hard work and saving, even if they have no money to spend.

The variety of games. I appreciate the thoughtfulness in making so many different kinds of games available. There are arcade type games, but also thinking games and games where you do not have to be fast to do well. I am not quick, but I do love puzzles and there are so many games here that I can play and enjoy.

I don't know if I have a favorite event, but I had a wonderful time this past Vesnali exchanging housefuls of flowers. I also really enjoyed the Troll and how it made so many of us work together to figure out how to beat him.

- I'm really glad you decided to include a Subeta appreciation day. There are certainly things here that could be better, but that is always true anywhere. I think it's an excellent idea to remind us of how many, many things here are done well and why this site is so special and means so much to so many of us. I am delighted to celebrate Subeta with you.

- congratulations on winning that Baking Starter Kit. I guess that means we need to start baking together!

Why do I love Subeta? I've been a member of Subeta for almost six years now and the reason I first joined was because I loved the pets! I love animals in real life and I simply loved the idea of having virtual pets with so many varieties and colors to chose from. My first pet was a Demi called Temary which is still today my favorite of all 22 pets I own (and the family will keep growing). At first I wasn't sure how it worked and didn't even made friends until years later. Now I have several lovely people I have met and like to call friends who make me want to return even more to this site.

My two favorite Holidays are Morostide and Luminaire, but in general I love them all! My favorite character is Jaxon, but I also looove Sagi and Allard. :D Subeta is a place to relax. have fun, and let go of troubles for me in a peaceful and healthy way.

That is the meaning behind what we are doing. Among all things that happen we still find our happy place here. Subeta is home for many of us and even after frustrating times we come back to our friends and the pets we love ^_^

This site is fantastic! I never thought I would ever spend so much time playing on any website. The people I have met here have been so nice and there is such a variety of things to do. ( My daughter and I were there at Golden Gate Park with you. We're in the back on the right side of the table. Small world!)

I think my favorite thing here is each new plot. I love trying to work my way through the various puzzles. (I also love that users usually have a plot thread going in case I can't figure out something. :D )

My favorite event is masquerade. I love the different masks, and I met some really nice people during that event when I first started. I also love trying to get as many achievements as possible. I always have some goal to work towards.

Like many others, I love the Subeta community. And the fact that there's lots to do, but no pressure to do it all. This is the one and only site I check multiple times every single day. I don't even go to Facebook as much :D

I look forward to all events, but Masquerade is my favorite. Oh, and plots! Now that I've gotten into battling, I can't wait for the next plot battles.

This is going to be fairly short, but the basic idea will hopefully get across.

I love being on Subeta, because it's a place I can help people. In real life, I have little agency. No money, since I'm a student being supported by my parents, etc. But on Subeta, I can help people get pets that they've been dreaming of, find the coolest items for their avatar, or just hang around and chat. All it takes is a little spare time, and the willingness to help. It's great, and something I really love being a part of. The community on Subeta is so positive and friendly. I hope the site is around for many years to come, and can continue bringing joy to myself and other people. :)

Subeta has been a lot of fun for me, because when I came here it was after I'd been on both Gaia and Neopets. Neopets had always only been about the games for me, but I liked collecting all the pets. But apparently you were limited and neither site would actually delete your account. It just sits there and rots.

Subeta does active clearing, keeps memorial accounts (!), the staff do so much for the site and often apologize when things go wrong and always try to fix it, even if the userbase does get super salty sometimes. They really care about the site and its members. The art is fantastic and is constantly updated. I just really like it here, and I hope this year's summer event will be really awesome.

So what do I love about Subeta? Well, for one, I found this awesome site through Neopets of all things. But I felt subeta gave us more freedom to do things without being super controlling. The staff here has always been nice and super helpful, as well as the community. I've met some of my closest friends here, along with meeting some new faces at the San Francisco Golden Gate park meetup! It was also awesome to hang out with Keith & Gemma, and have camera geek talk with Alex. There's so much that I could say about this site, but won't because it'll end up as an essay haha.

I'm just really glad that subeta hasn't changed all that much and I absolutely love being able to create HA's, pet pages, play games, and meet new people ;)

Oh, Subeta, how I love thee (most of the time). I really love some of the great artwork that comes out, especially recently. There has really been some beautiful stuff. I also love the people. My fellow Subetans are why I am here at all :) I love how we all work together toward events!

May 13 entry - What a like about subeta.
Most of all I LOVE creating human avatars. Love the ability to buy items with real money because I don't have the time to play all the games.
I love chatting with new friends from different areas of the US, the UK, and other places.

I love having something fun to share with my adult daughter. We call this our paper doll site.

This is a really easy one for me to enter.

I love Subeta for all the wonderful people I have met on here. I have made a lot of life long friends whom I don't think I could have gotten through this past year especially without them.

I enjoy the battling events. They aren't often or even consistent, but that's what I enjoy the most. They drove me to train my pet so I could do as well as I can during them :) I also enjoy interacting with new people about various things and helping out those who need it.

May 13: I found Subeta while browsing Facebook comments during a Neopets downtime. I like that it's much more easier to make millions of money on here compared to Neopets. I also love the holidays on here, and the staff is so sweet! Favorite feature is the ability to gain more pet slots (I have 17 already! ;) )

The things I love about Subeta... the wardrobe for one. I love dressing up my HA. She can be whoever, whatever she wants each and every day and it's fun to create different characters.

Making sP through questing and shops and being able to save and be rich. One day I'd love to be the richest player and I'm only 47 away from that goal but I never seem to get any closer. LOL

The community and friends you make are the best here and you can be yourself and be involved or not as much as you like.

What I love about Subeta? Oh geez, The pets for sure. The one name per pet on the whole site is such an awesome idea. So are being able to gain more of them by buying and loyalty totems. Dude! Those are a perk beyond perks! The players. Such a community, everyone is awesome. The wardrobe! XD I love playing dress up with the HA's. I have to admit I wasn't sure I would like it when they first came out, but now, I couldn't live without. And that is a real person who posts, and shouts with the players. Not high and mighty and snotty. Just some dude trying to do things for people while having a business.

I just got to shout out at because I dunno if anyone is interested? maybe? :)
