I think having all the pet images onsite is a very good idea. I like tinker's suggestion of linking to this directory at Adopt are Us - it's a logical place to put it.

I would love this! I pretty much always have a sbl/neocolors tab up while I'm on subeta for this exact reason, it would be so handy to have this feature be on site instead.

Totally love this idea. It seems like it should be a thing, and like the others, I'm not sure why its not. Can we get someone to weight in on it, staffwise, what they think? I like Neocolors, but they don't seem to be updating anymore :( I'd rather snoop onsite then offsite if its possible. :D

I JUST discovered this week that I could see the colors on Subetalodge, after using the site for ages, I used to always go to Neocolours because I liked the way I could browse the pets and colors, for example I could be looking at Storm pets and if I clicked on the Kumos it would take me to the page with all of the Kumos options. THEN I freaking realized why on earth I couldn't do this on the site at all.

I'd really love this as well. I hate having to go to a different site to look at pets and decide what I want!

I always use subetalodge because we don't have a page here but a page would be handy, especially for new players who don't know about the lodge. Support.

I think this might work in the SubetaPedia, except that it doesn't even list all the species. I love the lore that it adds, but it looks like it still needs work. Colors could fit there though, because some of the entries do talk about colors. Maybe they will add that. The lore could give us a list and a link to a gallery. And somewhere else could be a list of all the colors, with at least flavor text on how to get it (I mean most are just potions, but Nostalgic pets for example are so much more complex).
Another thing they could add is at least a list/images of the Experiment Pets. I usually use Neocolors for research because (as Nami mentioned) of the way it's laid out, but I realized how incredibly outdated it was when I was looking at the Statistics page under About Subeta and found out there's a bloody spider thing.
There's a lot they could update.

Subetapedia would be amazing for this.

You have a pet species - let's say kumos as an example. You have your article. And somewhere on the page (maybe right below the common image of the pet itself) you'd have a little link to see all currently available kumos colours. All contained in a nice little table. Or whatever is trendy in web design. I'm still in 2004, tables are the bomb.

If a pet doesn't currently exist in that colour (ex. sweetheart noktoa, at the time of posting this), the image gallery would simply a broken image. With a text at the top of the gallery explaining that broken/missing images mean that the pet is not currently available in that colour, but that the artists are working on it. Alternatively, a grey silhouette of the pet for missing colours, like the one shown in the HA to pet size comparison. (thank you, !)

Well, this is still just as great of an idea as it was a few years ago. A newbie shouldn't be expected to know about SubetaLodge just to figure out what the colors look like!

Whether it be part of the Subetapedia or its own thing somewhere, however staff would decide to implement this, I think it would be a useful feature.
