Are you two talking about the shops that have a MASSIVE picture in the description? I came across one, and I left right way. It was really bad in terms of how distracting it was from the actual items in the shop.
Maybe there should be a picture resolution limit like with the forum signatures?
I got my new shop set up today and filled it to the max limit. I'm really indifferent, but they did mention raising the limits again and I'm just wondering when that will be. I still have 5 pages of items in my old shop and I just want to get this over with lol. Again, I only had ~1300 items in my old shop total, which is not even a lot for anyone who regularly quests. So yeah sorry to bring up the limit again but it's really inconveniencing the completion of my move. Other than that I don't really have any strong feelings about this anymore. Meaning, I don't excitedly love it, but I don't hate it, it's just kind of there and a thing I have to get used to now haha.
Yuuup. Bought something from a store that had a full-on graphic background, shop item border, and big header image and fancy title text. It was very pretty, but took twice as long to load the store.
I'm actually surprised the current restrictions didn't make it to the new stores. Maybe that hasn't got thought of yet. Not looking forward to the inevitable scam links.
Are scam links even possible? This is something that should be looked into immediately.
(Someone please alert staff about this for clarification, as I have to go now.)
It may have been mentioned in the previews pages on this thread-I'm on my phone and not about to read it all in the car-but I just realised that on the shop search, items you have in the shop show up on top regardless of price. That is amazing. Additionally I love the hover and wishlist border in the edit items page. Two things people have been asking for in shops.
Now if only we could search by rarity (which honestly could be a thing I haven't checked yet)
bird and bear and hare and fish give my love her fondest wish
My feedback:
Things I like-
Things I don't like-
I have to say I also hate the height of each row of items, I see around 5 items at a time. Hopefully it can be reduced closer to the original format?
I really miss having the commas separating thousands for 'Lowest Price:' display (IE 4,750,000 instead of 4750000)

Actually I agree about this, it's entirely annoying and unnecessary. I did the same thing with keeping the one alert there so it wouldn't happen repeatedly.
Only two issues I have with the new shops rn:
Overal I'm finding the new shop rather hard to work with. I can't price very well or fast. Before the switch I would have about 10-12 items visible while pricing. I would then go down the list, high-lighting the name, go to a new tab with the shop search and re-price based on what came up. While this was time consuming it did get the job done. Now I have 9 items visible and it's slowed everything right down. I just don't feel like I'm making any progress and it's made a slightly annoying task a much bigger issue. Before the switch the space between items was reduced. I found this very useful for pricing and it made things much easier. I can understand that it made the page more cluttered for some but it still made it much faster to price. For me, the time it takes to price a shop is part of the reason mine became so big. I'd do a few quests and just not have the time to price things so I left it. I know I can't do that any more but this is getting irritating. Could we reduce the white space in the shops at some point? It would make life so much easier. I've noticed that I've got more alerts for people buying things from my shop than before. Does this mean I'll be getting an alet every time someone buys one item from my shop? Seeing people's discriptions while searching for items is interesting but it may become a little problamatic once the novalty has worn off. Big descriptions maybe too much and I know some have banners in their shops that may slow loads. Would having the choice to switch these off be better? Just if you're keen to do a quest as quickly as possible?
My BIGGEST gripe.. Thre are no . between the zeros. and and lot of items are al Lowest Price: 0 when in fact there are tons out there for whatever prices, recent a tshirt was 400sP and it showed 0 as price.
I know I could save time and frustration using the price feature but I dont like that, lost many sp when people go cray and list everything at a low price like 1sP shop.. So yeah Put the COMMAS back please.
- Awesome, thank you! ^^
- I can think of a temporary fix: Delete all of the shop sale notifications except one. Then, go to "Edit Shop" and disable shop notifications.
It would be a nice to have the notifications work like before, since I also did the "leave one notification at all times" thing.
Thanks for the tip. I have to admit the site seems (crosses fingers) to be working a little better since the switch. Hopefully the issues with the shops can be worked out fairly quickly too.
Can we please have some ability to search by rarity in our shops, galleries, and vaults? A "select all" feature in the Vault would be great too--even just to internally move items from one part of the vault to another category within the vault.
And as others have said, categories at least in the new galleries would be wonderful.
Just been playing with a new gallery and when I view it there is no division between the catagories and all the words for each just run in to each other. Much better when it was a grid.
Vaults have a Check All button at the bottom for removing items
Please let us be able to change the order in galleries to item id ..........-_-
It also really sucks that the whole row in Quickstock cannot be highlighted any more. I can only get an individual cell to have a different background color on hover. It doesn't seem possible for the whole row to be highlighted all together like it was with the old quickstock.........
You can create categories in the new galleries; just not in the shops.
