Do we yet have an explanation, why in edit shop item images are so small (and the name in the same column)? It was a real pain sorting/removing all the flowers from my shop yesterday, because items were hardly recognizable (I had been saving them all to the last day, to avoid having to check each and every single one for which I needed to keep).
And no digit indicators in the left(?)bound prices?
All that makes the whole New Shop Debacle even worse.
- I don't have an answer to either of your questions, but try going to "view shop" next time you need to remove stuff like that. You can remove items by "buying" them from yourself, and I found it way easier to get all my flowers that way. :P

That's genius O_O I hadn't even thought of that.
I read some of the posts here but did not see this issue addressed so here it goes.
I was/am a hoarder and had 8 shops two of which I spend a lots of sp to buy, are they giving us our sp back or is that just one more "Oh well, you loose" ?
I think for some of us old timers this site will never be the same and they have definitely taken the "fun" out of my game at the moment. Spending 8 years and real $$$$$$ to get my gallery to 48,900 + (I don't remember the exact amount) now makes me feel stupid to have fallen into the spend $$$$$ here trap! I am not spending a real dime here anytime soon!!!!!
I apologies if this has already been brought up but in the User Dashboard section the 'You currently have xxx, xxx, xxx sP!' no longer counts what is in the shop till and so doesn't actually telly me how much sP I currently have. The old shop till information used to feed into this and it is a shame that it no longer does. This was a really useful feature that would tell me at a glance how much sP I had to play with and it would be great if it could be brought back. I keep clicking on it and thinking 'oh man where did I spend that sP?' and then remembering I need to check my shop till as well and its getting annoying.
How did you spend real money to get your gallery to 48,900 + ? Do you mean you bought items with real money? Also, I thought old shops were like 250k each?
I had no idea that feature existed, so staff may not be aware that it isn't taking it into account.
- I am hoping it is an oversight and not purposefully disabled. Though I would understand if it was a source of lag for the site as that page takes ages to load.
I mean that I used $$$$ to buy cash shop credits and then used the credits to buy stuff in the cash shop and custom items. I have 490 PAGES of item ... yes really 490 PAGES. Eric another player has even more than I do. I do not feel good about this change at all. And perhaps some of you reading this are saying that I was one of the problems but when I first started Subeta the staff encouraged us to hoard and make galleries.
Oh, you're talking about the user dashboard, I thought it was a widget! Yeah, I didn't realise it didn't take into account shop tills. But I empty mine every day pretty much so that's probably why :o
All big galleries and shops were the problem. You him and everyone that was trying to get the 45k unique items achievement, or collecting for funsies. And they've said as much themselves, but at the time there were probably less users and definitely fewer items.
I'm sorry if I'm just repeating what has been mentioned before but please use the old purchase complete page where after clicking buy buyers are redirected to a simple, blank page with only the item picture, item name and one or two default buttons (one is Back to shop search and the other could be Go to Inventory, Add to Wardrobe or Add to Collection). I personally find it very annoying now that the purchase end page would load the users' shops images. I mean there's nothing wrong with users decorating their shops, but please give buyers the option of not having to load those images. Some of the shops are now edited with CSS codes and images that cover the whole page, which makes navigation more of a hassle. During site events with floating items this can be a drawback too.
"Oh No! There is a 1 second limit between shop purchases to prevent server overload." I thought that would be for Vesnali only?
I think, I'll stop playing altogether...
I don't have all that time to spend, going meticulously through every quickstock already takes up way too much extra time.
I agree with . I do not like the new purchase complete page, because of the possibility of user shop images being loaded and a lot of them have really big images. There's not to mention the CustomCSS some shops are using to completely change the look, making it disconcerting.
I agree that the large images and custom CSS when buying items is very annoying.
Do any of you have "Show Layouts in User Shops" disabled on the user preferences page? I have it disabled and I haven't seen any shops with CSS yet, so I assumed that option was still working. Maybe I've just been lucky so far.

Oh thanks very much for the tip. I'll try it out and if it works it'll be a lifesaver!
Oh that is handy :o But sometimes I want the shop descriptions to know who to comment for a discount. /is torn
- It should still give you the shop owner's name. It just won't display any CSS or images they've added to their shop.

Am I the only one who can't put items into my old shop and gallery since they changed things with them?!
The old galleries and shops are deactivated, that's part of the change. They deactivated them on the 24th like it said in the first news post about it.
You're going to have to make some new shops and galleries :o If you were working on shop till achievements, don't forget to go to your old shop till and have that transferred to the new shop that you make!
