- I think it really depends on how the artist decides to draw it, and whether they balance the level of detail between the shell and slug body? Like if they decide to pair this little guy with this shell, then obviously that's going to be too wild.

But something like this paired with this (with the colors adjusted so there's more contrast between slug and shell) could look really cool without being overwhelmingly complicated.

I have nothing to add to this discussion but I really support the idea of more invertebrate inspired pets! It would be cool if we could get a non-insect invert honestly.

Yeah, ultimately it would come down to whether the artists would be sane about choosing the shell/slug combo. But honestly I'm Down For Whatever as long as it's got those markings/face tentacles that look like a little mustache 8D

I'm kinda with Lantern about a sea slug pet being an experiment. I think the best way to introduce a sea slug pet species would be to introduce an underwater land along with the pet!
