Currencies have had their rarity changed to r155.
I would have really appreciated a warning ahead of time, because now I can't frag them.
[edit] It was mentioned in the siteupdate thread (which came after this thread btw) that the currencies may be asked for by the recycle beast. this is a decent compromise that I guess I'll take, but I really would have liked a heads up that the rarities were getting changed so I could frag what I had left.
Oh what a surprise subeta fails to inform us of another change. - apologies, jumped the gun on being stroppy there ^_^;
- when you say currencies what do you mean?
Well that sucks. Most of what I fragged to get the crystals I have were candy hearts because I have tons of those.

"Woe to those who make unjust laws, to those who issue oppressive decrees, to deprive the poor of their rights and withhold justice from the oppressed of my people, making widows their prey and robbing the orphan." - Isaiah 10:1-2
We have like 30-40 items that count as currencies, right. I don't really see why this change was warranted.
We change rarities around sometimes to make things more uniform. We've also just now added r101 and r150 to be fraggable! The currency rarity was added to prevent people from fragging existing currencies by mistake, as well as helping our ongoing effort to make the rarities more clear.
You're lucky you happened to see my comment and were able to frag a bunch before the cache updated. :P
I've never tried to frag any of my currencies, I've always spent them. I'm liking that retired items can be fragged...and I don't know what r150 signifies, but I know I have some of those items in my vault. What I'd really like to see at this time is a 1:1 frag rate, at least during the transition. I'm fragging all low ball items and getting an average of 1:4...which makes me a little gnarly.

I don't know why all currencies needed to be changed. Why not just change the crystals since they directly relate to the fragmentizer.
I didn't see about the change so did not get to frag any hearts. The hearts I fragged I did back during survival. :(
Guess that's just 15k hearts that will stay stored since I doubt I will ever have a need to spend that much in the shop.

Trinkets, candy hearts, wizard tokens etc.
A day or so notice would have been appreciated though. I don't have stockpiles of r101 and r150 items because I'm not the typical hoarder, so this change impacts me. I understand the change, I even agree with it to an extent, I would just like a chance to frag what I had left.
Yes I agree a day or two notice would have been extremely appreciated. There is a lack of communication around here and it's very irritating.
Thank you for pinging. I always appreciate you looking out for the rest of us.
I was in the process of doing the site update thread, but this popped up before I was able to.
It mostly to protect you from fragging things you wouldn't have want to (like the crystals themselves). I think the candy hearts might be the only thing at a reasonable price to frag? Even then, not bad to sell either during the plots.
- sorry I was a bit quick jumping on the stroppy band wagon, sincere apologies
- crikey I never frag those. Better to sell them and buy cheaper stuff to frag lol
Yeah, we added anything listed on the currency page. r150 is so broad and we've really been working to categorize those items quite a bit!
It's okay! You can also feel free to just ask us to make a site update thread or something if it hasn't been done.
-I'll try to remember that ;)
- I can understand that. Guess they don't want us fragging them. I wonder how many people do and what effect it might have.
I mentioned it on the site update thread, but just so it's here, too: we're going to be using the Recycle Beast more and items like this will be great there.
THANK GOODNESS Now I can use all of my battle tokens there instead of letting them rot. Right? Please don't change that to currency either ^_^;
