hugs I think I'll just sit over here in my corner rocking and wait for everything to be finalized and worry about it then. ;) lol
What happens if you create six shops/galleries while you have a GA and then the GA runs out? What becomes of the three extra shops?

Posted in the wrong thread. This is more for glitches I believe.

Did you not read the whole post? It said that they are going to increase it, but that they are starting off slow for now.

Here's a thought, BUY better servers to hold all of the items YOU make and all of the useless CW no one uses, and this could be easily bought with OUR MONEY WE PAID to have the perfect galleries!! Or, there's always the solution of money back...
How do I do my quests now? Searching how and paying how much for a pure crap!?
Thank you guys, really, of all the sux ass ideas you had till now, this take the cake AND the baker!
latest Chrome, OSX 10.6.8 GA shop feature Least price cache delay? permacookie?
When I change the price of something in my regular shop to be "the lowest" and then leave it and come back, that lowest price will show below the price box, that is to say I can be sure that others looking Shop Search for this item will see that it is cheapest and make their purchasing choices accordingly.
I have just tried using the newshop+oldshop shop search and it shows the lowest price and II now does too.

please send me any/all and so I can keep them safe
The error's are making it hard to read Forum's so I'll ask what's been asked again in the News post and that's how the site plans to address Questing? As in what if people choose to only place higher end/priced items in their shops and that drives the economy to crazy inflation?
Can there please be a way to see how many items I currently have per category in my galleries? It would help me plan how to split items up into different galleries later.
Yikes. I'd need 4 galleries just to fit the food that my gourmet hasn't eaten. Not to mention my actual gallery or any of my shops. Hopefully there will be an easy way to move items over to our new shops. For the moment, I'm not even going to mess with them.
Radiation is finished! Sorry if I get confused sometimes, I just had brain surgery!
Thank you for all the kind thoughts and wishes while I'm in the hospital again!
But I have a minion gallery I've been working on for years. ): Now it is pointless because I have no where to show it off.
~~~Selling my literal soul for this~~~
I just sold a Subeautique Invitation from my new show "New Shop". From the Sales History: Subeautique Invitation 479,990 4/07/16 - 10:06:55 pm
When I go to check my Profits, it says "There is 0 sP in this shop's till." Do we not actually get the sp that we earn from the beta testing shops??
Will we be getting the awesome shop til tax with this change as well? it makes sense for it to come with the shop recode.
Maybe they wrote it as a percent instead of a decimal on accident.
Are you going to add a "search wishlist" button?
Grace is fixing the till problem tonight, the solution will be retroactive so you'll have your money soon! Adding to the first post.
A start would be in item.php, under the Move Item header to add Move item to a Gallery. Two options here. Either duplicate the php for the new "Move to a shop", or use the old "Move to a Shop" php. If the former, you then need to duplicate the schemas for the shops and galleries with one becoming shops only and the other becoming galleries only, and then duplicate the PHP as required. That's a lot of work which is why I'm going to recommend the second option. With the second, you attach the old PHP for "Move to a shop" to the new "Move to a Gallery" link and keep all of the old tables. 90% of your work is already done. When you retire the old shops, they simply get relabelled as galleries. In the new system, just don't enable galleries. You'll need an "Add Gallery" link somewhere as well and a new "Your Galleries" link in the drop down menues, but the urls you'll be using are the ones you already have. In effect, by having the two concurrent systems you're currently proposing for the switch-over, those old shops are effectively going to effectively become galleries anyways, so make use of that fact to make your life a little easier. This second option is almost certainly the quicker but probably the dirtier fix.
What you don't want to do is create a situation where the players become too frustrated or upset from the new system, they decide to quit. There's a saying: "Don't medicate the patient to death."
I'd offer to help but, I don't live in the U.S., and the slow time of year at work is now almost over. I have 1 month before my work gets crazy again and I still need to finish enough of my own migration from one set of SQL schemas to a different set of schemas, including all new PHP, plus add a dozen new features, and fix a few interim fixes as well. Believe me. I might not need to deal with quite so many users, but I feel for what you're going through.
Group 5
I'm holding out hope that this will really help the site, and the posts from you guys on here make this really seem possible.
However, two features would make me relatively content with this update (under the assumption limits will be raised later).
Make a minion collection, like the plushies. The minion zoo just isn't cutting it and isn't even available to all users. It was a cute idea, but it separates out multiple copies of the same minion, cant be shown off, and is just a mess visually once you have more than a handful. In addition, the new collection pages are just so awesome anyway.
Allow gold account users one free autoprice per shop. With these limits you are in theory adding value to the gold accounts, but since we will have to split items for sale into multiple shops, if only one shop can be autopriced for free... you are really lowering the value of the auto price perk while simultaneously making nonGA users feel a large slam into a pay wall at the same time. Not good for either side of the paid/free users really.
edited for typos. original was typed on my phone
Oh I should also state that as someone who will likely always hold a GA, I find the essentially quadruple selling/displaying power of GA's to be a bit much. GA's don't really need this kind of perk. An extra shop or gallery sure, but twice the selling space per shop and twice the number of shops seems a bit ridiculous. What said about one autoprice per shop per day makes more sense.
