We've done the user questions before and it's wading through a lot of just really bad questions, overly complicated things, or questions similar to what we've asked before. :) And it's a lot of the same situation with ones we come up with, where we get a lot of forum posts/tickets where users are like PLS CLARIFY or MY ANSWER SHOULD COUNT!!!!! As far as prizes, and I have to consider how many items go out on site (like no one wants a free beer situation again etc) for anything we do and in this case it usually means a lot of one item goes out because users cheat/help out/whatever you want to call it. If we were to bring trivia back in any capacity I'd rather not to do an item prize at all tbh (because then people might not freak out as much about their answer not counting or whatever). The items would be better elsewhere, new item or old items.

omg we've made it so easy to frag now though like so many rarities of items you can frag. We just have to finish messing with 150 before we'll let those items loose to frag!

it sucks yes, but I don't expect it to ever change. I enjoyed trivia when it was around, but removing any cheating rules associated with it kinda ruins any achievement of solving it, and having the cheating rule in place won't deter people from cheating offsite. I'm pretty sure I even had staff members message me on msn with trivia answers before.

For me the major annoyance would be the people complaining about their answer more than the cheaters.

I guess I just chalk it up to human nature. Some people suck. Work with the assumption that some people are going to cheat. Trivia doesn't have to be especially difficult and prizes don't have to be especially great. I guess the fun is in doing it. I remember spending a lot of time on the taco sudoku and getting wrong anyway but thought it was fun because it was sudoku with tacos. At the time I was really into sudoku and of course I love tacos.

Prizes though. Maybe it's an inspirational quote from the Wizard or an extra turn at Ruffie Raffle or an account-locked voucher for one free training session with Jim. There are multiple features to work with (TC slots, buffs, avatar skins, achievements and titles, intelligence points for your active pet) and plenty of lore. Prizes don't always have to be items and not every user has to like the prize that is given out.

No support for zombification of Trivia. Let it die. It's not so fun when it's a "read my mind in order to get the right answer" game, and that's what most Trivia questions were.

I would love to have trivia back in some capacity, even just a special trivia question once or twice a year with no prize for a correct answer. It was fun and I only needed two more for the 100 correct trivia achievement which drives me crazy! But I do understand why it probably won't come back.

That is a terrible question. It's right and wrong.

Hell I think I might have even answered it Shinwa myself.

I answered Shinwa, but it was Merana who used her majiiks that was the right answer.

I probably would have answered with the artist's UN who drew Merana.

I would be happy to see the trivia returned. I was quite gloomy when it went bye bye, even with the drama associated with some of the answers. I'm looking at you Order of Operation questions!

The trivia was the best source for consistent unique items, especially minions, and I loved seeing special items rather than recolors :/
