I finally got him today. Pretty ridiculous odds, apparently.

Haven't met him once this year! Good thing I met him last year for the achievement, so that's good. Hope to see him (and beat him) at least once, if not more times, this March/April.

I haven't seen him once and I've danced with friends, in forums, gone to the dance floor page, been all over the site.. this time last year I'd seen him a few times at least.

i am also dancing with limited people, about 10 different friends of mine, also tried the forums a couple of times so i got some strangers as well in there... still only saw him once

is there an update on this? i danced hundred of times, only saw him a single time, the 1st ever dance this year, and poof, gone he was ever since ;A;

it just sounds like bad luck to me. I doubt there will be an update on it, it's not a bug. they may increase his rates a bit in the last few days of the event though.

Does he show up on mobile? Or even the desktop layout on smart phones?

I've gotten no duels while checking the ballroom on my phone for the majority of my dances using both layouts. Hoping it's just bad luck and coincidence. I only saw him once this year when I happened to be on my computer today.

Though I know it was kind of a bad decision on my part to do that in the first place since the mobile site is missing a lot of features

I have gotten a duel on my iphone using the non-mobile layout. I don't use the mobile version so I can't say if that works or not.

Well, glad to see I'm not crazy. I haven't encountered him yet this year either. :P

It's all about the amount of dances and your luck. I encountered him about 10 times today. Closed the opened tab on him two times, but he showed up quite fast again.

Hi where can I get the link to the dance floor please? I stumbled on it the first day but can't remember now how I managed to get there. Seems like it's the only place to get Boudewjin. :(

when you accept an invite there is a link underneath the "spend your tokens in the lounge or menagerie" that says "go to the ball room". if you sent an invite and it got accepted, the link will show in your event-/sidebar

Yes. If you want to have a chance, you need to visit the dance floor everytime when accepting/getting accepted. Refreshing on the dance floor won't work though :p Every dance has an ID or the ballroom so you can take a look again later, but Boudewijn will only pop-up with the 1st visit.

I've been dancing like crazy myself, and still I haven't seen him at all. It really feels like the odds of getting him are very low.

I was wondering. I saw him on the first day about 3-4 times. Nothing since earlier this afternoon when I finally saw him once. It's not like I haven't been dancing. Between friends and "user above" I've been dancing like crazy.
