This is a wonderful idea! I joined Subeta 7 1/2 years ago with my friend Alletta. We escaped from another pet site and found this place suited us best. She is the one that encouraged me to make a cult and though she has since passed on, I have made a lot of friends that have carried into other places. , , , , and were among my first friends here. (Baby Girl!), , , and are friends that I text or message, sometimes just to say hi. And I don't want to forget , and !

I started on Subeta when a family member got excited about Mystic Spindles and stayed because the humor and inclusiveness impressed me. I really love the community here and am reaching out more lately to interact with more people.

I would like to nominate shylarah because I love sharing Subeta activities with her, and Cobaltbluetoo who is my most recent Subeta friend because it's always nice to make a new friend.

Also want to mention some other Subetans who are not on my (very short) friend list but have helped make my time here special Me-Guru and MapleRose who did so much to make the recent snowball contest a wonderful experience for all of Team BFF, and Turokai who I don't know at all, but who made my day when I observed them being incredibly generous in a forum thread I happened upon.

because she is the sweetest person I have ever encountered anywhere. She has helped and continues to help me through some of the toughest stuff I've ever encountered. When I was feeling like life was hopeless and that everything was dark and gray and gloomy, she reached out to me and helped me find the most tremendous courage in myself. With that courage, I am overcoming obstacles and fighting disordered eating one meal at a time. She is probably the most generous, selfless, poetic, inspired, thoughtful, creative, and delightfully quirky person on Subeta. She deserves all the medals and trophies and gold stars. She is the type of very special person one rarely comes across in life. <3

has also inspired me to look for the silver lining of seemingly negative situations. In just a couple sMails, she turned my frown upside down and had me realizing that what I had thought to be a setback was actually a blessing. She is truly lovely. c:

is so so so so fantastic. She is the MOST fantastic. She is hilarious and insanely intelligent, very caring, and generous to boot. I think she was my first official Subeta friend. She has excellent taste in anime and manga and basically everything, let's be real. She so deserves a treat (or 50,000 treats). She deserves everythinnngggg.

There are so many! Laurie for making the corner booth a safe place and inviting me to meet new friends when I was new here. for checking if I have stickers in trades to stick, for being here, for checking on me, for looking out for me and friending me on facebook too. for sharing my heavy burden with me.

I'd like to mention whom i first met on Valenth and we reconnected here during Masquerade several years ago, and who has always been a trusty friend and sticker buddy!

Special mention for my fellow Rammstein-fan friends, (who always has the best GIFs and sent me a gift i will always treasure), (master-chefs unite! Lol we will get that all coordinated one day...) and (we haven't talked much in a while though so i hope you're still around).

Then there's (also of course part of that eventual HA-coordinating with Ivyana and me), who is always thoughtful and has sent me many friendly messages after i seemed to drop off the face of Subeta and i thought most people had forgotten me. I tend to do that a lot because i'm not the most talkative but it's nice to be brought back once in a while! (Lovecraft you're great at that too, usually trying to take pictures of me when you think i'm not expecting it...)

I also want to mention who is super generous and a much better restocker than i ever will be. She is always sending me new items way before i'd ever see them otherwise!

And there's , who shares my love of Halloween; i wish we could plan a real-life Halloween party together. We've had lots of fun conversations, although we haven't chatted in a while either...i hope you're still around!

And , who is really good at understanding that sometimes i type ridiculously long messages and sometimes i just can't muster a word at all. (I know i owe you a reply right now, in fact; it's just not coming together for me yet...i will though!) Thanks for being so patient with me! :)

I wish i could mention all my friends but i think that is ten pings right there so i guess that'll have to do.

We've known each other for almost 10 years now! we met on subeta and started talking to each other because of our icons (when the human avatars didn't exist yet). We have so much in common and would send long messages to each other all the time. She's always been so generous to so many people. She is an amazing person <3

This is such a lovely thread idea! I want to nominate who has been my best friend (and more recently, girlfriend) since 2007. I didn't learn about Subeta from her, but when I found out she was on here too I was so happy. Years later we have our own universe of pet-based OCs and love losing our minds over pet revamps, events, and whatever else. She's the best and I don't know where I'd be without her. <3

I joined subeta 2 months before my son was born. It was something for me to do to pass the time as I waited for him to be born. After he was born as you might imagine, I wasn't able to get online as often. I came on every now and then. Usually for holidays and that was it. After my fiance passed away, I came back on to subeta to help me get my mind off of it. Ever since then, I have become more regular. I have some amazing friends who are always there supporting me and always making me smile! In addition to mysteriousgirl (who has always been amazing!) I'd also like to thank (my longest friend on subeta!) I love how we always pick up like time hasn't passed! for always making me smile and always listening to my boring life lol for always being super sweet! whom I met during the pandemic. (who also is a mutual friend of pink_dolphin and mine) I hope you straighten out your account and come back to us asap! for being an awesome niece! for being a sweetheart and for always being thoughtful. I have met some truly amazing people on Subeta <3
