I'm new to this group and their contests but I like fandoms and getting obsessed over them. Also, one person already posted about a celebrity so I think I can post about a music band I like. (Is it still a fandom?)

Tears For Fears! They are an 80s New Wave band that consists of the members Roland Orzabal and Curt Smith. They created hit songs such as "Everybody Wants to Rule the World" and "Shout" and "Head Over Heels" and many more! (Although, the first two songs what most people know). I really like their music style because unlike most other bands/artists from the past and today (not all though), I can continue to listen to their songs without getting sick of them. Also, the music to me aged rather well unlike a lot of 80s songs which sounds dated to me. Also, I like the messages in their songs as they are not just about love or sex or drinking (Although they did make a few love songs) or partying. I also like the fact that I can sing their songs easily and I managed to remember the lyrics and/or chorus for their songs (not all though).

Since I got obsessed with them, I basically introduced them to some of my friends and even one of them likes some of their songs now!!! Mwhahaha Furthermore, I ship Roland and Curt very hard. (I'm going to hell for shipping real life people) Like they are my biggest OTP. Like I get a ton of fanart of them because there isn't much of them in the first place and there is next to nothing in terms of shipping fanart. I am making sure that the real life people never see the fanart because it will super awkward and also I don't have artist's permission to repost it.

Sure, you may ask, LOL! ^-^ My first profession is pediatric nurse. I worked for some years in a big university hospital and later in a ped practice. Then I studied to become a naturopathic therapist. That´s a profession which exists only in Germany. You are allowed to do the same as a doctor yet you aren´t allowed to prescribe prescription drugs and you must not treat some distinct infectious diseases. We are even allowed to do surgery yet sensibly, we don´t do such things because we would have to do them without anesthesia, LOL. So we mostly work with naturopathic therapies. For example, I work with classic homeopathy, acupuncture, autohemotherapy and vital waves therapy (that´s some kind of ultrasonic treatment for pain patients or for skin conditions). So nowadays, I have my own practice in which I work 3 days per week, mostly Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday. In the evenings and when the students have exam preps, I have to work some weekends, too, all in all ten Sundays per year. At the moment, I am always teaching Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday evening and rougly every third Thursday. And that was more information than you asked about, LOL ^-^

I Choose Supernatural^^ It was a hard decision because i LOVE so many shows like The walking dead, Better call Saul, Breaking bad, Lucifer, Grimm, Empire, American Horror Story and a lot lot more.

I picked Supernatural because i watched it from the beginning. My husband and I are huge fans of supernatural. And we love the soundtrack of the show. It fits so perfectly. I also adore the sense of humor in this show! This show is created with love and passion and it is worth to be picked. I think i watched the first season or the first two in german (my native language) but then we started watching everything in english and i have to say that every tv show is much better in english because something is always lost in translation.

I like grimm also very much. i watched it from the beginning. I also love how they pronounce the german words sometimes it sounds really funny to me and i really need to think about what could they have meant. :D I also like that they are using other languages too like japanese spanish and so on. The words they use to describe Wesen like Fuchsbau are sometimes just a little bit off but in a very creative way :D I like it really much i´m happy that i watch this show in english because i watched it one time in german and the "magic" disappears when they say everything in german. And you sometimes they even translated/ changed the german words like fuchsbau into fuchsteufel.. (and if i would translate this back into english it would be: Fox devil and this doesn´t describe rosalee very well in my opinion, does it?) or woge into aufwallung... uh whyy ? lol i don´t get it XD to be honest it´s not the same. I really like monroe and rosalee a lot.

Fandom: The Office Def: 9 seasons on NBC, a hilarious mockumentary on a paper company in Scranton PA, Dunder Mifflin. There are a bunch of characters with really diverse personalities, and the people did an amazing job being those characters. A lot of the producers/execs play the most frustrating characters as well c:

I absolutely love The Office. No other show compares. It has ultimate rewatchability--I am always catching jokes I haven't heard before, or didn't understand until finishing the series, or making connections I never had before. And it is absolutely hilarious! I couldn't find an acceptably hilarious gif because gifs just don't do it justice (or you need 6 of them to get the joke), so I found one of the whole gang (and my favorite character Creed dancing across the front). The members of the Office are a family no matter how much they don't want to be. Watching this show never fails to raise my mood up and bring me joy--and meeting someone who loves The Office just as much is an amazing experience, because there are years of jokes to talk about and laugh together over, even if the show isn't on at the moment!

HAMILTON

I just listened to this musical last week and oh man, I love it. It sounds like it would be something cheesy performed in a public school - the story of Alexander Hamilton, founding father, told through the power of hip hop! - but honestly, so much passion and sincerity and raw talent makes this thing shine. It's funny, it's heart-wrenching, and it's catchy as hell. I'm driving my family nuts because I can't stop quoting it for two seconds. And it's not like I was already a history buff, let alone on the details of early American history. It's never been an area of interest to me at all, but my friends kept swapping these sweet memes without me and soon I knew I had to get in on it. Now I'm reading up on the founding fathers & co. just for fun. It turns out they were absolutely ridiculous - one time Aaron Burr couldn't sleep, so he went to light a candle. Only he couldn't get the flame to catch, so he decided to try and light it with a gun and accidentally set himself on fire. He got the candle lit though.
This musical is really special to me because I can't afford to go see a lot of them live, but with Hamilton, I never felt like I was missing anything by just listening to the songs online. Everything flows perfectly.

Supernatural - TV Show

I chose Supernatural because I absolutely love it and it has been an active part of my life for going on eleven years now. There are other fandoms I've been a fan of longer but mostly because they were cancelled or ended many years ago. Supernatural is about two brothers travling the US in a classic car, listening to classic music, hunting things, saving people and oh yes, don't forget the PIE! Or at least that's how it started; over the years we've been introduced to angels, demons, multiple apocolyspe(s), levithans and even God's sister, to name a few. But the reason I really love Supernatural is the characters (especially Dean, Castiel and Crowley). I picked this particular gif because if you talk to me long enough and you don't watch Supernatural, that's how you are going to feel. lol

I have the same problem with explaining or evern expressing what are dear to me. For a long time I have been forced to supress my own feelings and joys and so being free to do so now I tend to lack expression. I have actually heard of this one from a younger friend who also rather enjoys it. You are all entered darling I like this one.

Some people don't like to reveal a lot about themselves in RL. I didn't want to push any wrong buttons. I think that is so amazing! I think that here in the states if they allowed that kind of practice our health care system would be better. We have what we call "Urgent Care Centers" here they are basically mini hospitals for people who are on the wrong in of the money line. They do everything you just expressed. I think if we had practices like your Thearapist that would allow our hospitals to be freed up and also bring down the cost of insurance and doctors visits. Not to get on the topic of politics I just admire what you do. I also love that you teach <3 You are amazing honey.

I LOVE how you layered them! O man that looks so cool. I LOVE Supernatural as well. It is a show that helps me escape and I have been watching it from the beginning. Jensen and Jared are on my top 5 sexiest people of all time list. Grimm is honestly my newest fandom. I found it at a time in my life where I honestly needed a great escape. I love fairy tails, as I was that kid. Loner, likes dark weird things. I read a lot. So seeing a lot of the stories I had read about and loved and seeing how they brought them to life and added a human eliment that not only does Nick kick ass and is a Grimm he is a Grimm of his own choosing. He doesn't need to chop off their heads just because they are different. I like that about the show. Also Monroe is my FAVORITE! I love love him from the very beginning of him peeing on his fence. :/ Fox devil does not sound right at all I will agree with you. KAT! That is so adorable! I happen to like Dr who as well. My sister has watched Dr Who from the beginning I don't mean the reboot I mean from the 70s So I have known and watched it my who life. I also loved the idea behind it. I think it is more cute that your husband did something so special with it though! you are all entered.

If you do, don't start with the first season. It's 6 episodes and very different from the rest of the series. Start from season 2 and you'll be golden c: (then you can go back and rewatch season 1 and laugh at how cripplingly awkward everyone is!!)

I know some German I am not fluent but enough for you to point and laugh at the american speaking broken german. So I think it would be neat to watch it that way and see the differences. I know in spanish it doesn't stray to much and they tend to use the same names.
