Exactly. I wish someone had spoken up for my husband. When their payroll had issues with bounced checks i was the one to call and get it resolved...no one in the company stepped up at all. Its a totally seperate issue but the point is that the employees there just seem to take whatever is dished out and its not right.

Thank you. We may end up having to file banruptcy because now my income is all there is and i cany keep us afloat. One loan place promised to defer payments for a year so it comes down to companies hopefully accepting our situation.

The tradition of silence, that has been such an accepted aspect of bullying for so long, leaves it's victims feeling so helpless. The whole "Let them handle it." and "It's none of our business, keep your nose out of their problems." attitude that pervades our culture, isolates people into easy targets. 40 years ago when I was in school the attitude was downright hostile to the victim if they complained about a bully.
"It's just horseplay.... Oh grow up.... Man up.... It's only roughhousing.... Grow a skin why don't you...." and on and on. Pretty soon the victim feels like they are the one doing wrong, that the are somehow unworthy of being treated any differently. Brave people like you, speaking out, are the only way to change ingrained attitudes that people would rather not face.

And thank you for read my story. I dealt with it for 4 years and it suck. I went to my supervisor and told him i dont want this guy and he told me i cant deal with it and he told me that cuz it was his brother.

This actually hits pretty close to home for me because of someone close to me going through something similar. Thank you for sharing your story and spreading awareness. Bullying is often times talked about with kids and teenagers, but can be overlooked with adults when it is still a potential issue with just as terrible effects. I am happy that you have gotten out of that situation and I wish all the best for you and your family. Documenting is really helpful advice that I hope more people are able to use. I honestly wish I had been told to do that years ago when I first started working. Unfortunately only after some things had happened did I learn the value of it.
