Good morning my lovely family! Here's to another day of lots and lots of kissing and hearts for all :) I have a trade of flowers up if anyone is trying for the leave a flower at the memorial achievement. I'll put up a group of 10 as I collect them and you guys can just bid nothing on them.

haha yeah, i hear that XD i'm fine. bit sore, had pain therapy today where my therapist beat my body back into the right places :P hard to explain, but yeah, it works! i feel better! but i also feel super tired! between that treatment and not sleeping much last night, i'm pretty sleepy. might have to take a nap :P

wow sounds intense but I'm glad it helps and you feel better other than being tired. And hey, naps are good :D LOL to the time warp! One of my former students used to randomly call out in our drama class "It's time for the time warp!" and proceed to start the song and dance.

more people should randomly do the time warp, the world would be a much better place XD

it's almost impossible not to join in. i remember introducing my friend to it once, and we spent the next 2 or 3 hours dancing it basically non-stop. we basically laughed the whole time, and couldn't stop XD it was awesome

lol that sounds about right. Once we started, you could forget about class the rest of the period. And then there were times that we would be rehearsing a play and where they were supposed to stand in a scene and I'd say something like, okay so and so take a step to your left, and they'd all look at each and start laughing and off we'd go again. Needless to say, that was a fun class and I have tons of good memories! :D

Yep, it did help a lot of times. Just goofing around relaxed those that were nervous and also gave them a break from running the lines over and over.

i would have enjoyed the 1 drama class i took for 2 weeks in summer when i was 15 more if we'd done the time warp :P

it really does. sadly we were performing Grease, which i...just cannot stand >< but the other choice was Joseph & his technicolour dream coat, so neither was very appealing. there weren't enough boys in the class, so i had to play a t-bird XD

LOL that is too funny!! We did a song from Grease for our first attempt at the musical category in a drama competition (and failed spectacularly, but that's another story). And yes, there never seems to be enough guys!! I had that problem with teaching and also in our community theatre group it's always more women. I've played a man a couple of times that had a small part and then run to the dressing room to change into a woman lol. It's all so much fun though. I love theatre!

haha nice one XD i was a film student at uni, and we used to get so annoyed with the drama students, because we'd ask for them to help us by appearing in our films, which would in turn be good for them, for show reels, experience etc. but they never ever got back to us. we almost always ended up being in the films ourselves XD
