I love your HA! lol awesome! Yea I don't have anything else I really wanted to put in BUT its expensive and I have to wait to may to get it if I really wanted it lol. I have not been to the SD zoo I have been to the phoenix zoo which is now almost as big though. I would LOVE to see that garden though. I had several flytraps growing up. I love them.

I am on early today and so freaking tired. I haven't slept and I am waiting on my apartment guys to come do the yearly fire alarm check. So no nap til 6pm -falls head first on the desk- Sooo kissing and quests for me
- Thanks! I had to change it so I could be practically naked lol. I've had that item on my WL forever, so I get what you mean about the expensiveness and having to wait. I saw Stage 7 of yours, and I'm super excited. It's adorable! I went to the Phoenix Zoo a few years back, but it was for the Christmas Lights celebration thingy, so I didn't get a good idea of the size. The SD Zoo feels huge, especially because there are tons of hills to trek up and down. The garden is really lovely! I don't think I spent enough time taking good pictures of it. I usually took pictures of hummingbirds, red pandas, and giraffes instead. This is making me want to renew my membership lol. I hate the yearly fire alarm checks! Had mine two weeks ago, which scared the hell out of my cat. I am sorry you can't nap yet!
The phoenix zoo is underrated because you can only go really 5 months out of the year because of the heat. They also can't have a lot of the same animals as the SD because of it. BUT they have a HUGE desert display. With every kind of animal that lives in the desert and high heats. Including mountains with mountain rams! Lots of animals from africa as well because they are used to the heat as well. SD has all the exhibits broken into bits. So it seems even bigger lol because you are always trying to get to the new chunk of animals. Phew I volunteered at the phoenix basically my whole teenage life. I wanted to be a vet for quite a few years and it was good experince as I wanted to go into big animal and exotic animal.
Also I get it they have to go change the battery blah blah its also to check you aren't messing up the apartment but its like give me a smaller window than from 8am to 6pm.. Its like bro really? My cats hate it as well they run and hide under the bed and my cat hisses but he is male and a maine coon so when he hisses it sounds like an alien fire truck. Its really low and manly but loud. It usually freaks people out lol

- Yeah, the sun is so strong in AZ that I get burned AND have hives from it (no matter how much sunscreen I use). Awww, mountain rams! I looked it up, and the Phoenix Zoo DOES occupy more land than the SD one. The hills and winding paths make it take forever to walk through. Not to mention the endless wave of tourists, kids on school field trips, and the 20+ minutes of trying to get a damned parking spot. It's a great zoo, but you need hiking shoes if you want to see it all (you will want to after spending $50 for a day pass). Wow, that's so cool that you used to volunteer there! I actually have a friend in Phoenix whose sister volunteered there for years, too. I admire anyone who can handle the idea of being a vet (I'd be bawling in the corner).
That is a huge window! I got lucky that they said from 11AM to 2PM for mine, but they only let us know the day before with a flyer in our screen door (which meant panic attack + migraine + canceling plans + cleaning like the dickens for me). I cannot stop laughing about the alien fire truck bit! Peach just hides. I just closed the bedroom door (there's a smoke detector in there) in advance so she'd only be able to run into the bathroom and left a sticky note that said, "Gimme a minute to secure my terrified cat!" by the doorbell. Also, my partner wants me to nap with him, so I will be back later!

It is huge. Its best if you live there or close to get a year pass like at disneyland. That way it isnt overwhelming. The zoo lights that you did is neat too but I prefer to see the actual animals lol. I will eventually get to the SD zoo but I'm in no rush. The only thing they have there is the penguin exhibit that makes me happy. I wanted to be a big animal vet. Living in arizona people dont assume but it has a huge dairy industry. I eventually wanted to make it to zoo's and rescues but I couldn't do it in the end. Its to many years in school and I had a lot happen to me when I was in my late teens that forced me to drop out of school.
They told us last friday and my place is clean enough. I live with 2 guys... We clean every Sunday and by sunday night it doesnt freaking matter... So whatever lol. He seriously does. My roomate didn't beleive me til I had to dog sit for his mom. She has 2 big poodles that LOVE EVERYONE & EVERYTHING and my cat is 14 and cranky lol. He hid on the bed and when the female would stick her nose under like "Hey come out and play" From the other room you here "VROOOOMMMMM OOOOOOMM OOOOMMM" He was not happy for the weekend lol. Also have a good nap! See you soon <3

I got off of work about a hour ago. I spoke with one of my other managers (the one who is technically over me) about how feelings about the other manager. He talks to EVERYONE like they're stupid, but when really doesn't know ANYTHING. My manager told me that, that's just how he talks. So he's an asshole it seems. I can ignore that at least because I know he doesn't just have a problem with me. I should be trying to kiss people for candy hearts but I just wanna play Skyrim

BUT OMG deer, bats and barn owls? And humming birds? Omg ;___; I have literally never seen any of those in person. Frogs and snails I've seen and I think I've seen a snake? I love animals so much, i just wanna watch them all day but they usually run away lol ;x; Though my partner was actually walking home with one of her co-workers aftr a night shift and they saw a squirrel and PETTED IT. A SQUIRREL. THEY PETTED A SQUIRREL. I thought that only happened in Disney movies and Hyde Park in London xDDD So jelly.
Yeah, nature is amazing, it helps clear your mind and makes you feel peaceful ;x;

– I had the year pass to the SD Zoo for a few years, but I didn’t renew last year because of the migraines. I also still have years of pictures to edit from there (fell behind with all of the school stuff). Yeah, I would rather have seen actual animals instead of the lights. They were pretty still. Oh, the penguin exhibit is fun! I also just remembered how much I love okapis o.o. I’m sorry you had things happen to you and had to let go of school hugs. I’m glad they gave you a week, but that still sounds tiring. Awww that sounds hilarious! Napping ended up failing (migraine again), but I’m starting to feel better.
– We tried napping, but he got hungry and my head started hurting. Peach usually comes in when I’m napping and naps on her tower (a pillow on top of two huge plastic storage tubs). I didn’t get to see the bat, but a friend of mine named the bat who would always come hang upside down by her room. Here’s one of the barn owls. This wasn’t from my campus, but here’s a hummingbird I saw in the main big park here. They make the cutest chittering noises! I don’t know if you’d want to see the snakes on my campus (the venom kills o.o). I have the same problem with animals running away, though. Aww! I’ve never petted a squirrel, but this one at the beach let me get really close! That’s how I feel about nature, too ^.^. Also, sorry if I posted too many links to pictures o.o.
