Oh! Nutsy is so much fun! It's a mystery that teams solve and RP the solution to. We get to make HAs and get clues to solve the murder. I had a blast last time and this time I'm a bit out of the loop but it is such a great thing. If you go into the RP forum, there's the thread for it so you could read the story and see what I'm talking about. :D

Is anyone here into fiber arts? (knitting, crochet, weaving, felting) Typically I weave, but I haven't been able to in over 6 months so today I decided to take up crochet.

I knit a little, or did. Need to get back to it and learn more than making scarves. :D I have knitting friends that make so many cool things that I want to make too. I'd also like to try crochet. So sad that I never learned from my grandma when I was younger, she made tons of afghans (using one atm, actually).

I clearly chose a terrible beginners yarn. Its kinda thick and super hairy.

I'm just starting out learning how to knit myself. My grandma is good at everything crafty and I've been getting pointers from her. It's a bit hard for me though, since I'm a slow learner when it comes to imitating movements. I just got some cheap cute yarn and am knitting chains of knots to get the hang of it.

I do a bit of sewing as well. I practiced on my grandma's machine and then got one for myself. Made my husband a button up shirt and a few cute placemats for the table. It's so, so frustrating sometimes, but I feel like some sort of wizard when I look at the finished product. I want to get good enough to make my own clothes.

I just restarted a scarf like 5 times. D:

Caught up reading on all the posts & see others have a love for kitties too! We are huge animal lovers here & oh my gee fiber peeps too! LOL

Even though I make a lot of crafty things, I love knitting & crocheting! Fairly new at it too but I am a Scarf Addict & yes I say it proudly LOL Have tons of regular scarves but started making some for myself. I have a few WIPs which include a granny square scarf, sky scarf, temperature scarf & a hexagon granny market bag. I so need to get these finished but find more amazing yarn & patterns that I want & well lets just leave it at that! LOL

Also been working on doggie bandana's... here is my GrandPuppy Rüger

I gave my dog a bandana once, and when I went to take it off she bit me. She wore it for a week and would growl if anyone touched it.

Awww she loved it that much! :D All of our doggies wear them & even one of our cats Baxter... he is actually called Bandana Baxter, he loves them too!
