thanks for the kisses! I owe you some btw.
Once I'm done buying the few things I want I stop the kissing thing, and then I suffer through it again the next year lol
You're welcome. :)
I always try to get some extra candy hearts in case there's something I want really quickly when the next Survival comes around!
i have to leave for a bit, but when I come back I'll kiss you back! (It always feels so weird talking about kissing everyone)
Bye everyone!
No worries, I may not be around later (uk time zone) but candy help is appreciated! :)
yeah that's how it seems anyway. it's stupid. eat what you want and enjoy life.
they help give me good ideas for what to make or how to make things.
I like collecting stuff of specific sets, but the decoration isn't really my thing
i keep doing it even though i don't need to :P
you won't believe how bad it was. my roommate just put down the spoon and go eat outside. haha. also learn that sticking to basic is the way to go. simple things taste better.
If people did that there would be less stress in the world. I am all for less stress. But enough people buy the newspapers to say maybe they don't agree!
Simple is sometimes the best. And if you have less ingredients, there is less to go wrong.
I know someone who managed to burn soup when all they had to do was make it warm. Not even make the soup!
It's just annoying cuz then you get all that trendy food that isn't really any better for you than normal food
How is chorizo painful? The spice level? I love spicy food so I honestly don't notice it haha.
I watch a ridiculous amount of Food Network. When I visit my parents, I cook all sorts of crazy things because they pay for the ingredients as long as I cook and they can eat it.
I've made a couple of batches of choux pastries for cheese poufs. Not really my thing but my mom loves them haha. I really want to make eclairs, but I need to wait until I'm home so I have more people to eat them. Hot water crust pastry is fun too (found out about that one via The Great British Baking Show which is SO HARD to try and watch in the States. I've only managed to watch the latest two seasons), and makes amazing savory pastries.
It's fine to eat but a few hours later... We may have stronger chorizo here though.
But this food is amazing! Look at the healing properties! Never mind it tastes like bits of dried tree bark!
XD
Common sense about food. It's underrated.
Baking - it's so terribly British! :) Yeah, the whole afternoon tea thing is always popular here, so that show is too.
Eclairs are good.
No food has magical properties, it's all just false hype. Sure some things are healthier than others, but nothing is going to cure cancer. Some people are going to get cancer no matter what.
Oh see hot stuff doesn't bother me like that generally haha. Built up tolerance over the years maybe? Plus I normally use it with either seafood (which takes heat really well) or with pasta and a cream sauce (which cuts the heat a lot). As an aside, you never know. Weed could cure cancer :P
I love that show so much haha. Mary Berry is adorable. I actually got a lot of good tips from the show about bread and other baked goods. Cookies are a whole other thing since I like soft gooey cookies.
I like spicy food but some things affect me much worse than others. I think cuz chorizo is so greasy? Idk. I don't eat seafood.
yeah the grease can be a bit much. I normally cook it, then slice it, then add it to the sauce so it kind of gets absorbed by all the other veggies. I'm a big seafood person, but considering I grew up in New England and my mom's from the Caribbean, it would be really weird not to like it haha.
I grew up in michigan. I just can't stand it and the thought of it makes me sick. I much rather eat beef :p
And that's the bit that people are so keen to ignore.
Live your life having fun and enjoying food? Live your life watching every molecule you eat and worrying about it?
I know my preferred option.
Crisp and crunchy or soft and gooey - the great cookie fight! :) Biscuits, however are best crunchy. A cookie is a different creature!
I am not great at bread but make a mean pizza dough. Herb flavoured, basil, oregano, that kind of thing.
I worry about enough as it is. If I worried about food I'd be a wreck.
I can't handle spice, well specifically peppers either... now, used to and love love loved the heat... but as I got older developed an intolerance to everything in the family so even a dash of paprika can make me sick for days...
