It would be nice to have fireworks with all the colours but quieter noises! (I don't selfie, either!)

I like having contests, but it does seem like a learning curve as often they are different every time, and so are the rules. Clear rules for each contest, all in one place, would always be good to include.

I voted early, so not to deal with the crowds today. I'm ready for this election to be over also. Sure my husband and I will be talking about what happens next. Whoever gets this, will change a lot of stuff that will affect everyone and it may not be for the best.

that's awesome that your friend is running and you're supporting him! I think that's where we as citizens need to be putting our energy now, on the local stuff, since the rest seems pretty well decided for us. :/ I too may be washing down my pain with "a drink or five."

In more fun news... I was really excited with the Diablo 3 expansion being announced at Blizzcon! I started playing it again with some other characters. Necromancer looks really fun and two of my brothers are all excited to play too. It's always more fun with people to play with. :D I'm just debating if I should buy the last expansion or not. I'm leaning towards "not" because with WoW, when I bought the newest xpac, I automatically got the previous one that I didn't have already. So would they do the same with D3? ponders That being said, I know Crusader is a fun class and to make one NOW I need the old expansion. XD

Grocery stores here (like Dillons/Kroger and I think maybe Walmart) offer the flu shot for free. I can also get the flu shot for free through my workplace. I've never gotten the flu shot, because I just know I'll end up getting really sick from it.

It's weird, I have had the flu jab for years, and never got very sick from it. Yet, another friend gets it and a couple of days later, quarantine!

Since I've been living in town, I catch colds and other sicknesses easily. Last year I missed 2 days of works after my husband got me sick, then I got a terrible sore throat that was neither strep throat or mono. I've been playing the remastered Skyrim as well, though I think I've spent more time looking through the mods than actually playing. Do you enjoy Battlefield 1? My husband wants to get the game, but a friend told him it wasn't that great.
