Theres a few RIsing type things Ive participated in, but I was never really good at them. About half of the reason was a shitty connection.

I'm hoping with Keelhauliday they bring back the pirate challengers for TBT.

I feel your pain. It wasn't until I was at a friend's, on their connection that I found out there's a 1s time between buying shop stuff!
Was never fast enough for it to show up before.

I am liking that as a general idea, Subeta football teams game/event themed after our favourite NPCs!

Not one for battling myself, but I know people like a challenge! Lots of past items and things are getting back on the site, so you can be hopeful. :)

And if theres the battling...I might be decent for that up to a certain point, but after that its epic fail XD

Oh, my battling consists of hitting the challenger with and hoping it gets them. Not really skillful... or effective! I usually avoid.

I have a few weapons I tend to stick with, and a few scrolls. If I cant get it to work with them, I say fuck it XD

Must confess I don't think I have ever used a scroll in my life! Such a battle innocent... xD

Yeah I was here for the Islanders/Pirates plot and picked the Pirates so we battled the Islanders. Back then my pet was only low to mid tiered. So I'm hoping I can overcome the top battler on the Islanders team. We'll see what comes with this plot. ^_^ Good night.

I hope there is some battling involved since I have a lot of battle pets. I also wish that once this starts they will let us know how long it's going so we can get an idea of when we have to get everything finished by.

I really only do any training when theres some sort of plot going on. Got Circletine in for Auto-training for Health. Might go another round of that, and I think Strength is one that is a choice...

That could then unlock tougher challengers for those who enjoy battling.

I do still pop my pets in for training occasionally, but that's more for the job/employment stats for promotions.

I'm hoping for various tiers of challengers, something for everyone. :)

Most of the time they have some sort of battle challenger. Throw in a big boss maybe once a year. I've been training my main pet for 3 to 4 years, probably more and so I do like plots with challengers no matter the difficulty. So I'm hoping that will be the case this plot. I don't count those dummies as anything but maybe a teaser. Unless they get animated and go crazy.

I think it's very likely that there will be a battling component. However, for the past few events the battling part hasn't been required to continue on with the other steps, just some extra rewards for the people who do like battling.

Yeah, since they put the dummies is, it's likely there'll be something battley. It is always a fun addition, though I haven't been training quite as long.

Well, it's more fair that way since if you don't have a good battle pet you're pretty much stuck otherwise...

btw, when did Maleria stop giving item prizes for her quests?

Oh, I agree! I think it's nice to award the battlers for their effort to train their pets without forcing everyone to participate in the battling part if they can't or don't want to.

And within the past few weeks, I think. They've been tweaking the quests here and there based on the economy or something. commented on it here and here.
